Not the normal complaint about motor insurance being too high but I have just sold my BMW motorcycle and to cancel the insurance which expires in march is £55.99, I only paid £60 to insure it for a year!

With the Newcastle goal VAR should surely have only been used to check there was no handball or offside before it was put in the net. It's not there to check if the ball went out of play or if there was a foul as that is up to the referee and linesman.

I thought Man Utd's goal that was disallowed was a poor decision by whoever was doing the VAR & referee. Maguire may have tried to touch the ball but he didn't and his action didn't affect anyone else so goal should have stood for me. VAR is only there for clear and obvious errors allegedly. It...

Advert again for me. This time the magnum mini one and on more than 1 level. If someone ate an ice cream near me and made that noise I would kill them. I think the ad is disingenuous as she is supposed to be eating a magnum mini & it looks like a normal magnum. Finally it is about my dislike of...

According to FIFA the goalkeeper can only hold the ball for 6 seconds otherwise it is an indirect free kick, when is the last time anyone saw this enforced?

I like a chip butty but a potato scone is a dry tasteless flat scone with a bit of potato in it, it's like eating a bread sandwich

@Brighton Sky Blue started it by suggesting eating haggis, black pudding & square sausage for breakfast!

I would think a proper Full Scottish would be cooked totally in a deep fat fryer with the exception of the egg and there would be no tomato anywhere near it. I am not a fan of Haggis and it should be nowhere near anyone's breakfast.

Followed 2 of them today and the only time they deviated from 40mph was to brake to go round corners when they really didn't need to.

Bruges is lovely and even better if like we did you get a tour of the city by a local. I also like Gent & a lot of towns in the Flemish side are lovely, those in Wallonie seem to be more industrial although I did have a lovely weekend in the Ardennes. Having lived in and around Brussels for just...

No to grilled vine tomatoes, just a normal tomato cut in half & grilled. I don't want black pudding on my breakfast although I much prefer the English one over the ones we get in Scotland. Hash browns can fuck off back to the USA and as for the suggestions of white pudding & soda bread they are...

I'm not sure a grilled tomato being part of a Full English is a fad. I would rather have it than baked beans if they are indeed part of a Full English. Bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms & grilled tomato with some toast & a cup of tea sounds like perfection to me.
