I agree in that I think that's the main result of SISU winning the JR, the possible removal of Council funding for ACL. As for what happens if that occurs though, I reckon it's a bit cloudy. I don't think there's any obligation on ACL to sell any part of the business to SISU, for example, but...

If the Council win the JR, then I'd surmise SISU's only route is either back to the Ricoh on a rental deal, or selling to someone prepared to do that, or liquidate. I can't see how building a new smaller ground for £20m - £30m works financially when the club is already in debt up to its...

I know we've done this to death many, many times, but there was £21m needed to finish the build and that money had to come from somewhere. In essence it came from ACL, who borrowed it. The rent was set, broadly, at a level that covered that borrowing (even SISU seem to acknowledge that fact)...

And it's bullshit to pretend that the club didn't have half of ACL pretty much given to them, but chose to sell it to the Higgs. And then did nothing about it for years.

Except that it wasn't CCC or ACL. It was the Higgs Trust who bought this share, which had in effect been given to CCFC by CCC/ACL despite the club only putting £2m into a £118m build. The club then chose to sell the share to Higgs, because they'd run out of money. Higgs always planned to sell...

How much profit have ACL made from the club again Rob? If there's one thing that gets really boring its the old 'club as a cash cow' argument... The ACL accounts are out there, and public, so where's this huge profit?
