I honestly think he’s a liability a lot of the time. There will be exciting moments but it’s let down by dire positioning and discipline.

He’s dreadful - really needs excluding from the starting 11 - back flicks when trying to attack on the line - not great and really lucky on a few occasions trying to run through their team when we were defending

Clearly he doesn’t but I am taking back to the first relegation season and we signed an Argentinian centre half with some enthusiasm It reminds me of Esse as people then tried to pretend he was good. Esse is awful starting in the team and he needs binning as an occasional bench player
