    Robins after Craig Davies

I put one and the auto correct corrected it to two. Thought it odd. I reckon I must have added it to the dictionary as two t's previously. Will need to look back through my past posting history and find where I have mentioned vomiting. Probably just need to look at every match thread for the...

Defence lawyers/barristers defending clients they know to be guilty

Yes, I know. I do know a bit about the law. If you have 4 years experience you obviously have much more in-depth knowledge than me. Of course it is in a defence barrister's interest to not have previous crimes brought up in the current trial, so as to not influence the jury and have them...

The worst gig you have ever been to...

I took my missus to a Flaming Lips concert and they had a screen behind the band and very early on in the set they had a topless woman running across the beach on the screen and my wife immediately wanted to go home. Spoilt the whole concert for her. I kid you not.

Defence lawyers/barristers defending clients they know to be guilty

It isn't gut-wrenching? Seriously? I am obviously talking about someone who has already been previously convicted of the same charge they are accused of in this instance, so obviously a convicted child killer, not someone you are defending who has been accused of child killing, but someone who...

    Yes, I do understand that.

Defence lawyers/barristers defending clients they know to be guilty

Yep. Get that. And get that defence lawyers must thoroughly dislike and detest the person they are defending too at times. Can you imagine defending a child killer? Must be gut-wrenching

And also, it's the defence lawyer's job to put doubt in the minds of said jury. A good defence lawyer could make all the difference to a guilty or not guilty verdict and a defence lawyer's persuasion could indeed lead to a not guilty verdict when the defendant is actually guilty.

Defence lawyers/barristers defending clients they know to be guilty

Yep get all that. Still seems like a bit of cop out that though. Pass on a sense of moral internal duty and wash your hands of it all. I could walk down the street, watch an old lady being mugged and just walk past saying 'Not my job, it's down to the police.' I get all he is saying and what I...

    Anybody watched Brittania yet?

Been umming and ahhing about it. The reviews have been okay, but I am not so sure on it or whether to give it a whirl or not. Will remain undecided I think til I see some better reviews.

I went with 7 at first, but then trimmed it down to 3 so as to not induce too much vomitting diarrhoea.

That's what all contract killers tell you. Then they quietly come and take you out in the dead of night with one single bullet.

Yep? Chinese whispers start the snowball rolling and then there's a domino effect.

Defence lawyers/barristers defending clients they know to be guilty

I remember some drunk driver crashing into the back of my car as it was parked for the night outside our house. He wrote the car off. He got taken to court and I had to testify, but he got off. As soon the case ended the police told me outside the court that he had done the exact same thing on...

Ranking Every Premier League Manager By How Likely They Are to Eat a Worm

If anyone was going to eat a worm I would have it down as the former Forest and Pompey footballer and now youth coach at Fulham, Steve Wigley.

Defence lawyers/barristers defending clients they know to be guilty

At the end of the day nothing is perfect. Just wonder how defence lawyers feel about clients they have gotten off who have then gone on to commit the exact same sort of crime again?

Defence lawyers/barristers defending clients they know to be guilty

Just checked and a lawyer can turn you down. Many reasons and they can just say they are too busy for instance. Just went on the Law Society site. Lots of reasons you can turn a potential client down for and like I say, if you thought someone was lying and was guilty when they are saying they...
