Checkatrade - time to own up

Can understand people being a bit indifferent to it all, but don't get how anyone can say they are not interested in or bothered about winning a trophy! Completely baffles me. Surely we all want us to win something. May not be the greatest cup, but a cup it is.

Checkatrade - time to own up

Just think on the day you would get wrapped up in it all. Can you just imagine 30,000-40,000 City fans all singing on in unison at Wembley stadium? I think it would bring a lump to the throat.

Will you still be embarrassed as we do the lap of honour round the pitch parading the cup I wonder. :)

Still think the stubs thing will be in fans' minds though, unless the club come out and say it is not a factor. People are already talking about needing stubs on here.

Guess we will see if it happens. Just think the two games from Wembley and stubs thing will get fans interested.

I think it will. Just 2 games from Wembley? I am sure we would sell 2,500 tickets for that, especially going into the game as favourites too.

Just checked and the Liberty Stadium away capacity is 2,500. We would obviously sell our allocation.

Coventry City fans to discuss possibility of supporter-led takeover

Was just fantasizing in my head. If a massive City fan won the lottery, but didn't wish to buy the club and didn't wish to invest with Sisu at the helm, maybe they could buy a player for the club. The club would still have the right to sell him, but maybe would be much less keen to do so if a...

Match Thread Coventry v Brighton U21 Match Thread - Tuesday 10th Jan

We don't want Bradford away. That's the only tie I wouldn't like. Would be interesting however if we were to get Swansea away. Would guess there would be hardly any home supporter interest and massive away supporter interest. Surely we would outnumber home supporters several times to one...

To prevent false Wembley ticket claims amongst fans

Yeah sure. They are 50p each, £49.99 P&P

Coventry City fans to discuss possibility of supporter-led takeover

But what if a City fan was a multi-millionaire and decided he wanted to buy a player for the club? Could that work? Someone buys the player, the club pay the wages.

Me? A wind-up? How on earth did the thought ever enter your mind?

To prevent false Wembley ticket claims amongst fans

I looked on one club's site and the estimated income for everything, including prize money and merchandising etc. For winning the thing is £400,000. That is not to b sniffed at.

Coventry City fans to discuss possibility of supporter-led takeover

Now here's a question, can a fan or fans own a player? The fan(s) finance the buying of a player and having a say it and when he is sold etc.? Got a feeling they can in theory. Would obviously have to be in conjunction with the manager actually wanting the player in question of course. Has it...

Checkatrade - time to own up

This season, yes, because there was something riding on it. No replay, no extra time, just 90 mins and penalties and a step nearer Wembley. Without a shadow of a doubt.

Surely they should have found out who was attending Sixfields and refused them tickets.
