    this summer's cricket

109 needed, 3 wickets in hand. One of them being Hose on 46. Looking unlikely now. They couldn’t...could they?

Is it just me or did that Tunisian player just throw up massively on the pitch before kick off?? Edit: Just rewound it and yes, yes he did

Awful by Tunisian LB. Great break by Belgium though, lovely finish

I thought it was on the line, definitely not as sure as Phil Neville was. I think the fact it wasn’t clearly or obviously outside means the decision stood. Could have gone either way!

    Becoming a Sky Blue

I remember hating the radio commentary in the car, it was so boring but as soon as I caught the football bug around 4 it was only a matter of time. My dad, brother and both grandads were big fans so it was inevitable. We were in the Premier League at the time and my first game was Middlesbrough...

It must be so emotional having fought the great injustice of not getting what you want for 90 minutes. And to add to that you were booked when all you did was throw a strop! Poor guy

    Interesting Raheem Sterling Article

Brilliant read. There was one by Lukaku the other day as well. Really eye opening and it’s good that it’s actually from the horse’s mouth.

First case of mistaken identity and a yellow card being rescinded I've seen, very quickly as well. No idea how the ref got those two mixed up though!

I thought the same when goal line tech was brought in, felt it took away the human element but once I saw it in action and how quickly the ref was informed I changed my mind. If every decision was automated I would agree with you but the only reason it gets so much attention and is controversial...

They're still making all the same decisions, it's just they can now be called up if they've made an error or want to check something game changing. Not saying I'm a massive fan but the main issue for me is the time taken. If it leads to the right decisions being made then I won't complain.

Was the right decision at the end of it though. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the decision, it’s a different type of excitement I guess

These horns in the crowd are doing my nut in. What’s wrong with good old singing, shouting and chanting?

    Refereeing at the World Cup

I thought the same in the Portugal Morocco game. Guerreiro was kicking anyone who came near him and after one foul the ref pulled him up and pointed out the other FOUR he’d committed. Then told him the next was a yellow!

It’ll be down to the kit manufacturer, all the Adidas shirts have that lettering. Pretty sure ours is the same as Portugal’s who are also Nike.
