Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Do you have reading issues, where have I said I want the NEC. As for sisu I have witnessed 15 years of their shananagins, seen my club go from championship to division four, transfer embargoes for not filing accounts, three years wasn’t it, two administrations, sent to Northampton, sent to...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Quiet simple sisu are proven bullshitters & liars and re. NEC if it is stadium only we are potentially still stuck with sisu.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Probably does but apparently two bids have been made. It was mentioned to me ages ago the American interest definitely includes stadium and club and was also told money no object I’ll believe that when I see it, as said Nic interesting & intriguing.

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Blackburn Rovers Match Thread - Tuesday 1st Nov

I’ve not jumped on the knocking Ben Wilson bandwagon but his overall performance yesterday was terrible. He bred no confidence in his beleaguered defence shocking throwing distribution, not coming for milk and drink crosses to relieve his defenders, kicking awful from the deck or his hands I...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

The bottom line for CCFC fans though is will they should they carry on be based and play in Coventry, I don’t care if they re-form and become a rugby force again just not here, any group taking the Wasps name on must surely see Coventry as a home base is not for them.

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Blackburn Rovers Match Thread - Tuesday 1st Nov

Going to depend on fitness levels, looking yesterday Bidwell & Panzo looked completely whacked and in fairness I think both did well to play. Then there’s Rose, Eccles, With a fully fit squad think we can beat Blackburn but we need that fit squad.

    So what happens if....

As I said they started it years ago a lot of what has happened since CCC, Wasps, etc is a consequence of that action. I’m hopeful though things will pan out okay.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Well they started the ball rolling by moving from the Ricoh to Northampton, and our illustrious chairman Tim Fisher saying things like this ship has sailed, who does he represent ?

    So what happens if....

Think the players will put up a one off like Burton but if something ongoing happened which I doubt our future would be grim, for a start I reckon our top players would be off as soon as they could probably this January, manager too I’d expect. As for getting money back good luck on that one.

I remember Blackpool being all over us but somehow we managed to win, if I remember correct Blackpool had a big following come down for the game, I’d say well over five thousand.

I remember us playing Blackpool around 1969 time at home in the FA Cup we won 3-1 but struggled to do so. Did Hutchison and Green play in that game ?

Bloody Hell my old fella was only about 5’ 6” how he saw anything god knows, he went to the first Wembley final in 1923 too just a 12 year old, he was born Burnley way but I think a neighbour was a Bolton fan so probably be supported Bolton being from that neck of the woods. He had the unused...
