Imagine Vallance rolling out that statement (which suggests a large R value) and not even batting an eyelid. Herd immunity was blatantly the strategy from Day 1.

If you were capable of any kind of analysis you’d see that it is glaringly obvious that’s certain sections of the media are pushing for lockdown to be relaxed or scrapped entirely. My point (which you yet again missed) is that whilst the government may have been swayed by this initially, it...

The day the vote went Leave there was never ever going to be a way to reverse it.... just wish we’d not gone down the line of trying to block it, because although it was the will of the membership it was so far out of step with the electorate we needed to hold AND win.

It was a legitimate criticism of Labour that their Brexit policy was driven from London-esque metropolitan areas - that’s why it lost the North and a lot of Wales. Starmer has to change that perception and approach to win them back.

Labour are in a state - primarily because of the factions within the party. I hope they may have turned a corner in 2017, but they fucked it by getting the biggest issue in the country horrifically wrong and handing the Tories a huge majority. I hope - another 3 weeks of lockdown. There might then be some kind of gradual return.. not sure which sector you begin in though. There is talk about schools starting to re-open which is ludicrous IMO. Impossible to socially distance in them and would probably be front and centre in causing...

Let’s be honest - once they get to a care home it’s unlikely they’ll be voting anymore - they can become obsolete then in the eyes of a Tory... plenty more to recruit from Facebook to fill their place.
