We were linked with him in the summer and yet some on here queried why we would want a player that hadn’t ripped up any trees at Swansea.

Of course it is likely that most of our young players and our foreign signings will be better next season for a year in the Championship. We ignore that. We see this a lot in football even with huge signings in the Premier League.

I understand Matt I just don’t think Robins trusts Tavares and if he doesn’t then we might as well move on.

I don’t disagree but I don’t see us spending big on the striker but Godden and Tavares will need replacing …. JDS was a free and brought in to play wing back which is no longer our preferred formation
