It would be nice to give Godden a rest because he’s worked his socks off last few games and looked shattered second half yesterday but the replacements just aren’t good enough. I’d put Biamou ahead of Baka but it seems Robins has had a bit of a fallout with him.

I wonder how long “we’re the city boys making all the noise” will carry on before being called sexist / non-inclusive to women. There was a woman next to me last season that used to join in singing it. She joked we need to change it to “we’re the city fans, up and down the land”

Really enjoying this (watching on iFollow). Mason again been a stand out player. They seem happy for us to knock it about at the back. Maybe don’t want to press us because of the heat. Really would love another one though. Even with us being so in control you just feel like they’ll equalise.

No one has said he isn’t. If you play a 4-3-3 and one of those middle three is a CAM that isn’t expected to track back etc then the midfield will be over-run. If you play a 4-3-3 in this league the middle 3 need to work forward and back (types like Allen, Kelly, Westbrooke, Shipley). O’Hare...

Obviously we haven’t seen him yet but CAMs aren’t known for their work rate. Westbrooke and Shipley have been a huge part to our good start, not just the scoring and assisting goals but mainly their work rate has been phenomenal. Seems odd to bring in a player and then immediately play him out...
