Hiwula has scored the same as Godden with an extra assist and also has to track back like a midfielder would. He’s missed a few chances of late but why are people suddenly saying he can’t score goals? He was our top scorer last season and is joint top scorer this time virtually playing on the wing.

Did more in his few minutes out on that right wing than Jobello did the whole game. Has he played a full game for the 23’s? If it’s only down to fitness why isn’t he being pushed more and more minutes with them as opposed to just 20 minute cameos with the 1sts

Yeah I remember some of the wage budget being used to paint the coaches black (vehicles, not ogrizovic... you can’t do that these days) because there was some psychology that it made the players feel more professional

Not as good as Mason yet but done a good job. He has quality on the ball and is tenacious but I have to agree with Terry regarding his positional sense at the moment. He gets caught out a lot but that’s to be expected at his experience and that can be coached.

Thing is, they’re playing other championship teams so it’s impossible to gauge. Look at Watford this year, you’d say they were woeful, 2 points from a possible 18, losing 8-0 etc yet when they played us we couldn’t get near them. I know they’re bottom of the prem and not championship (yet) but...

Oh c'mon, he's still the same player we were creaming ourselves over when it looked like we'd get him. Bayliss said in that podcast that he's the best player he's played with. I think he'll have a career in the champ but who knows, if we go up and Robins is around then he may come back.
