Would SISU be waiting until the Football Creditors Rule ruling is announced? If as expected it gets scrapped, could they then save themselves from having to pay 100% to all football creditors?...

    baffled about our local newspaper

I'd urge everyone to read the 'This deserves its own thread Old Sky Blue' thread that got moved to the Board / Finance Discussions sub-forum (particularly any journo's reading)... http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/16713-This-deserves-its-own-thread-Old-Sky-Blue

Am I the only one who thinks all this makes a mockery of the fabled 'Fit and Proper Persons Test'??! Do the FL have to do a test on the Directors of ARVO? Or Sconset? Or SBS&L, or CCFC H etc etc?! It all seems to be above board, but has it ever been done by a football club before?... I think...

    The audacity of Pompey?Apleton

They haven't paid back a penny of the previous CVA. I'd guess the choc teapot Football League's rules don't cover additional penalties for clubs agreeing to come out of admin via a CVA but then defaulting on that CVA...

    Bryan Richardson Speaks!

The 'confidentiality agreement' between the parties indicates to me they are all culpable. Please can someone more legally aware than me explain the implications (financial??) for breaking this? To me a comparison is the News Corp v Gordon Taylor (dont get me started on him...)...

^this Even if it gets unmerged when the financial future is settled, it is currently the most important subject. Cant say I use the "new posts/threads" tab, particularly on my phone. 'How you use the site' might be a good question to ask over the (quiet??) summer?

Last Games of The Season in the Past.

Ha, yes indeed. Ended up with us needing a point at Villa Park to guarantee our safety...and Cyrille scores for them after 20 seconds. Biggest anti-climax to the start of a game ever. Might end up 6-1 on Sat mind you...

Some pertinent points there from the 'Jimmys'. Whilst we may be on different paths at the moment, it's worth remembering that when they do cross, we tend to come out on top - Cov 2-2 Bristol 1977 - http://youtu.be/abpN42eGDXM (funny how so many people who weren't there appear to have such...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

The small crumb today is that despite the clueless FL's best efforts, cheating Pompey have gone down as well. With Tal Ben Haim still on 38k a week for next season, it will be v interesting to see whether we play them or not (assuming we're the ones who survive the Summer)...

    Sky Blue Memories

As we may well be heading for another 'last-dayer', here are my memories of last game of the season matches - 02-05-1992 - Villa 2 Cov 0 - There was a load of a Cov in the Holte End who got chased out after a rendition of LAST and ran length of pitch towards rest of us away fans, Cyrille then...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

You're right to say that no one has yet received a penny from the original CVA. According to a previous quote from Birch, creditors would get say 20% of 20% eg, 4p from their original £1 debt...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

So, Pompey currently £58m in debt, £20m more than when they went into admin in Oct 2010 - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17679909. I cannot possibly see how they are going to start next season. Not sure if this was discussed previously, but those with anger management issues should...
