    Joe Murphy

Wanna get technical? Midfield/defence should've have pressed him so he didn't have space to shoot. He couldn't have done better really

Positivity - Coventry's Man of the Match

Moussa made mincemeat of their RB and brought pace and skills to our team, but more importantly, showed he may have an end product! (When he put in that threatening cross...) Bailey whilst he was up there (prob 2nd imo) he did give the ball away for 1 of their goals whereas Moussa didn't.

lost 6-1 but positives to take from game such as....

Tbf that was when we were pressed into doing so there wasn't really an alternative.

Put him out of his misery.........

I disagree, I thought he was too selfish, tried to be the hero too often and it didn't work. He got into to decent positions but on the whole, made the wrong decisions e.g. that time when he tried to smash it in from a ridiculous angle but should've squared it. I have to say though, I do...

Put him out of his misery.........

I was there, and I remember the only player in mdifield to play terribly was McSheff (too selfish and hasn't got itno more), Barton and Bailey together were a good pair, then when it went 2-0 it fell apart because our mistakes were pounced on. Brown, Elliott and McSheff were our worst players.

    Bailey

Barton was good in the 1st half as was Bailey, but both dropped off tbh, too big a mountain to climb as we were in a position where we needed to sit back to keep the score respectable or go and attack to get a goal back.

    Just seen the goals

Walcott just used his (about time, shame it's v COV) pace and left our defence for dead, too good.

    Captain Carl Baker

Bailey and Barton at CM were v good, more so 1st half. 1st goal before HT was nearly killed it off, 2nd goal killed it off completely, but credit to them, they tried until the end. Brown (decent in 1st half), McSheffrey and Elliott didn't have the best of games imo.

    Bore off

I also remember holding such views of Turner and Grandison at that age, some players develop faster than others... He sould turn good only time will tell. Fact.

Moussa looks a top signing, ripped their RB apart!

    James bailey

Not one touch football, passing football but being able to pass it forward, as Robins pointed out, we weren't brave enough to do that.

    Arsenals scouting report on Coventry

Hope Wilshere plays tomorrow, then I would've seen Wilshere's last 2 games in an Arsenal shirt, I went to Emrites Cup with my mate, who is a glory hunting Gunner. (Dw, CTID!)
  16. Mucca Mad Boys

Would you rather we lost 6-0 to Arsenal or go into extra time at 2-2?

No offence, but... WHAT A STUPID POST!!!!! Getting humilated 6-0 or giving it a real go and getting pipped in ET or pens!? You on drugs!? Capital One Cup doesn't mean much, League is the priority, but beating Arsenal would make morale go sky high and maybe improve league results...

    Arsenals scouting report on Coventry

Malaga poses a threat from set-pieces, could've (had 1 had 3 goals now in 2 games. Wood did, not sure what has happend and Edj appears unable to pose a regular threat.

    Who are we HAPPY with?

I'm only unhappy with: McSheff, after a lot of people bigging him up (I didn't rate him after his Brum injury) he has been waste of space, not put in even half a shift, hope Robins ditches him! Brown, been mistake prone, at fault for at least 3-4 goals Ball, been a waste of space, like...
  19. Mucca Mad Boys

    Richard Wood

It was Brown + Edj, I remeber it clearly because all game I remember think and saying to my Man U glory hunting mate, he's f'in sh!te, he agreed and he normally rims + bigs up Man U players (last season thought Welbeck, Hernandez and Rooney were better than RVP!)

Loyal despite feeling numb, humiliated and dejected

Loyal to the end! I only feel frustrated, because I know we're good enough to compete at the top of the table, and humiliated, because we're losing to teams we shouldn't, on paper, lose to and because of that, I'm being torn a new one by my mates (glory hunters) about Cov who pretend to know...
