Kitching's form's fallen down a hole, and Thomas has lost all semblance of discipline.
You can't pick centre halves to attack set pieces. Both need some time out of the side.
Wright's always been a scapegoat.
It's because he's not a blood-and-thunder striker, but one who relies more on stealth.
He does seem to have confidence issues, though, and has always had periods of disappearing within himself. But accusations of laziness or being uninterested are well wide of...
I disagree.
He gives us an unpredictability and ability to go past opponents that we previously didn't have. Considering that we desperately needed options on the wing, what kind of player do you think we should have brought in?
He was frustrating today, but do you genuinely think he hasn't...
Lacks experience and tactical discipline, but extremely talented and carries more of a threat than Saka (whose main assets are tactical discipline and intelligence).
There will be games that favour one over the other.
Again, you're missing the point.
A player was dropped whilst in form for a player returning from injury. That, in my and others' opinions, was a mistake.
It's gone now, however. It's just an example of a mistake made during the season.
The point is that Simms was in form when Wright came back from injury, but Wright was put straight back into the team.
Good form should be rewarded, and Wright should have been expected to win the shirt back.
How Simms played in a one-off game a couple of months later has no relevance to that.
We'll have to sell several of this team anyway.
Wright will presumably go to Turkey; hopefully we'll get our money back. MvE will have suitors, but not for the sums talked about in the summer. Loads of others will only have a year left on their contracts; it will be interesting to see who is...
Talented, but mentally weak.
I'm have very serious doubts about the management team, but it's not all on them. The players have to show fortitude too, and they don't.
QPR game was an anomaly, but the results at the start of the season weren't a fluke; we were by far the best team in the division on pretty much every metric.
Now we look like a team that would struggle to stay up.
The form was always going to dip to a degree, especially with a small squad...
Brainless.
Don't think there's a chance we go up. This squad just doesn't have the mental strength, and I'm unconvinced the management team has the nous.
I'm down with those centre-half changes.
That's the point of a squad; when you have players out of form, play other players. Chance for Lati and Woolf to stake their claim.
