Could Wembley be your final game ?

Regrdless of CCFC if I had one bit of advice, as an old, crap, very amateur footballer, it's always more fun playing than watching. Make the most of your youth and who knows, by the time you stop playing you might have a decent team worth watching again. :) Or as NW says, given our current...

Could Wembley be your final game ?

Ah - so what you're saying then is that what when you said... "If you buy a season ticket or match ticket for a Div 2 game you are prolonging the agony for all of us....think about it" ... it was just your opinion, and wasn't intended in any way to deride fans who just want to support their...

Could Wembley be your final game ?

If you buy a season ticket for next season then you're a bloody hero in my eyes, and deserve every respect. If you choose not to, that's fine too, who could blame you. What I'm not having is that one set of fans should try to dictate or use emotional blackmail to pressure the choices of...

I reckon you'll have more empty space around you at the Ricoh than you will in Starbucks mate. Just saying. :) Great to hear that you're out - must be a brilliant feeling after being stuck inside and not quite in control of your space for so long. As others have said, you'll know your...

ON THIS DAY: Friday 6th January 1950 - Willie Carr was born in Glasgow.

I was there too - as cold as I've ever been at a football ground. They both got red cards, if I remember correctly. Steve Livingstone (remember him) scored 4 in the replay!

    We're going to beat Gillingham.

Did you? No, she wouldn't let me. (You cross 'em over son, and I'll nod 'em in.) :)

    6 final tickets per STH

If everyone who had a season ticket really had five proper mates, then they'd have better things to do than watching this stuff every other week. :) Joking aside though, even if they did, that's still only 24,000 (correction: 36000!) gone and it's got to account for a reasonable proportion of...

I'm happy to hold the necessary funds in escrow as required. Now if everyone could just send their bank details to me I'll sort it all out, no problem.

Blimey, talk about critical - hope you never come around our house. I spent all day hanging a door yesterday only for the missus to complain that there was a bit of a gap at the top and bottom. Don't worry, no one will ever notice it, I said...

I'm still up for this signing, I really am. I don't see how it could make things any worse. In fact it's hard to think of anything that could make things worse, though I'm sure our owners are wrestling with that one as we speak. :)

I've still got my original 87 shirt, fwiw. It seems to have shrunk in the wardrobe though. Odd.

I'm going with Monners because he knows how the trains work and everything and then we'll have ice cream and then we're going to the zoo. :)

    WEMBERLEY!!!!!!

This Wembley trip is for all of those daft buggers that are still going, week in and week out. And then for those of us who think they've lost their love for the club over the decades of constant disappointment, but can't really shake it. And then for the kids, that have literally seen nothing...

Top man - it'll be brilliant. It's a good feeling doing your own bits and pieces, except for the fact that you'll know and notice every day, every little half-bodge and scratch that you've made, even though no one else will!

Match Thread Coventry v Wycombe Match Thread - Tuesday 7th Feb

Watching from afar and trying to be objective, I actually thought the defence grew into it in the second half. The worst period was the first twenty minutes of the second-half, and then the two-and-a-half hours of added time, obviously!
