Strongest team available. Don’t mind Eccles in the 8 role, personally think he suits it more than 10. As long as he stays on his feet. As always - massively keen for Simms to play well. Yes he’s clumsy but he is nowhere near his ceiling IMO. 1-3, Simms x2, Eccles.

Certainly can, so we need the leaders in the camp to be on it tomorrow - whether they are starting or otherwise. Grimes, Kitching, Wolf, Lati, Eccles, Allen, Bidwell all former captains, leaders or experienced pros.

It’s a can’t lose tomorrow. I cannot stand Birmingham, their fans and nut job ownership. Albeit I have many fond memories of the St Andrews season Looking forward to the impact the man who 80% of this forum panned last year has on his return. Also hoping the striker who most of this forum...

    Haji shite

What makes it harder for Wright, and why he draws so much criticism is his lack of contribution to the game. If he isn’t scoring, he offers absolutely nothing. When he scores, frustrating as his lack of wider play is, you can live with it as he’s getting chances and finishing them. When he...

I think it’s both. We looked tired again today, it’s crazy when Kitching, a CB, was the one trying to make things happen. We did, but nowhere near enough. Our goal was so easy, but we then, for whatever reason, completely dropped off. When we have a midfield three of Eccles, Allen and...

Wasn’t buying into the narrative of players not trying etc. But the performance today was actually very evident of that. Lack of ideas, lack of drive, lack of ambition. Two games in a row we’ve looked low in confidence and devoid of ideas.

Even Grimes can’t pass the pissing ball again. Must have been some pretty bad “news” pre game.

Bin this formation now and see if playing on the front foot helps. EMC, Sakamoto, Rudoni all on. Wright, Allen, Lati off.

Has Eccles always gone down this much? Christ. Never really noticed it being this bad before.

We’re on the ropes again here. Not against the formation but we do need to get out quicker as options are so limited offensively.

Yes - could be. But it’s still choosing Lati (and Thomas) over Wolf as he could play RCB or in the middle. Pleases for Lati after his performance the other day. He plays better in a 3 too so I’m not worried defensively today.

Lati > Wolf is interesting. He’ll put it down to rotation but I wonder if in reality performance is a factor. Midfield looks a bit toothless but hopefully having two strikers negates that.

Not had enough attention so far this season?! In all seriousness you’re right on the reflection piece, how strong we are this year and the over reactions. Albeit in fairness the match threads are always more reactionary as football is emotive and it’s in the moment.

I’m into St Pancreas tomorrow. Despite spending a decent chunk of time in London and having a good knowledge of pubs, for some reason I left the planning of the pre game pubs to my Dad. He likes good beer and most importantly he’s retired so lots of time! He’s just sent it to me, it’ll need a...
