We don’t have any cases in the first team (confirmed on the statement). Can’t we play against another team that have also been let down by their opponent so it’s one less fixture to cram in down the line. Not sure how it would work but there will likely be other teams like us sat there on...

I think that’s more to do with blues naturally sitting deeper and deeper to protect what they had. It was always going to be one way traffic last 20 or so. You can’t deny that Hamer was outstanding last night until his knock.

He has an amazing ability to win tussles against much bigger CB’s. He seems to just ease defenders off the ball. It’s not as though he’s missing a lot of chances eaither, we haven’t created many clear cut chances recently really.

I don’t think he’s held to any higher standards, why would he be? Hamer was more expensive so he would have more to live up to. Anyway, Sheaf plated really well today and I’m pleased for him.

My best mate is a bluenose so I got him a ticket next to us in the home end for his 30th. I would be surprised if any blues fans came to the home end to kick off but who knows

Agree with most of it. I think the thing that lets him down are the sloppy passes which are far too common. Then it’s usually compounded because his running style looks so casual / not-arsed to win it back. Anyway, this started as a positive message about todays performance. He played really well.

Not a massive fan of him but I think Sheaf deserves a mention today. Showed a bit more heart and grit than he usually does.

Hamer has become very underrated on this forum. I think peoples opinions haven’t readjusted since his dip in form the second half of last season. This season he has been very good again, fairly consistently. Has a passing range that we haven’t seen at this club for as long as I can remember.
