    Death List 2020

If anyone has ever heard/seen the Eddie Izzard sketch on Noah and his ark (played by Sean Connery) I can just imagine him doing it to perfection.

In the last lockdown schools remained open to parents of key workers - and the uptake was less than 5% nationally. This could easily be put in place again, so it would eliminate the concern over child not having people to look after them. The school environment is a hotbed for transmission. Even...

It’s pointless not closing schools. That said a lot of parents will pull kids out of school if it happens.

Some of the Oak National Academy stuff is kind of good for that. Subjects like Maths work quite well as there is very little content deviation across different exam boards. However things like History and parts of the English curriculum is far more difficult to cater for given the massive...

You can mitigate for some of these with in school policies on mobile-phones for example. You can’t apply them in the same way via Teams.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

So is Angela Rayner? Is he going to suspend his deputy?

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

OK then - so if we put that one to aside for a second you are comparing a guy who rolled out some pretty basic AS tropes a few days after RLB being disciplined by Starmer for her promotion of the article by Maxine Peake. Some consistency at the very least.

I would agree with what your mate says here. Live lessons do raise massive safeguarding issues and I for one would not do them nor allow my team to for that reason. We are prepared for 2/3 different scenarios from kids in on a rota basis to full 100% lockdown. Most schools could turn round and...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

I am stating that the extent and the number of instances is exaggerated - not that the problem does not exist. Your response implies that it’s institutional which is why I challenged it. So tell me why Starmer hasn’t gone the same zero tolerance on Reeves or Reed for example, but happy to act...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

How is it a FFS? Basic maths tells you that the number of upheld complaints against Lab members alone was less that 0.05% - is that what you call institutional???

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

OK - so why in the report does it say that the process improved under Corbyn’s leadership? That doesn’t make it better at all and levelling failure here is justified, but they were shambolic before 2015 and especially under the remit of Ian McNicol.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

I can see your point. If he felt like this then he should have been suing some people when this broke 2 years ago, because there are some people that have weaponised this.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Pretty sure his opening line did accept that there was AS in Labour that needs to be removed. Let’s see where this goes next.
  18. Ian1779

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Hang on - there are many ways to interpret that. The claim was that Labour was ‘institutionally antisemitic’ - that has not been borne out in the report. Their are 2 reports of unlawful actions - that again is not institutional. You can state these points without being in denial of having a problem.
  19. Ian1779

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Not by Labour or Starmer no, but the inference is being pedalled by the media. The problem with this action is that it is inconsistent with how Starmer has responded to other AS issues since becoming leader. If you are going to be zero tolerance you have to be on everybody - but just the ones...
