    Robins first fixture target

    And some momentum.
  2. Otis

    The biggest fixture

Yeah. Depends of course with what happens elsewhere, but if we get within 7 points of safety, I would say any league game coming up under that scenario would be much more important.

    Robins first fixture target

I would feel a tad more confident if Bury and Oldham were both on the slide, but they are not. They are going the other way. On current form both teams are in the top 10. We could really do with a team on a monumental slide.

    Robins first fixture target

Just 3 wins, 1 draw and 6 defeats (a pretty awful run) would still bring Bury to the magical 50 point mark.

    Robins first fixture target

We certainly need them to fail badly for us to have any chance, mds.

Season ticket rethink ? ..the Robins factor.

We would then need two keepers though. Burge's contract is up, so I would be inclined to bring a new keeper in and have RCC as back up.

    So who's around next season...

He's the only player I can remember who made a 4 year contract feel like a 14 year one. What a waste of space he was. You could almost set a clock by him and it would be be one good game from him for every four or five matches.

Prediction time - 11 games to go

Yeah, slightly optimistic there that the League will be kind to us and slip and extra couple of games in without others noticing. We need to win 8 out of 11.

    Robins first fixture target

I think we can go on an excellent run with Robins and once momentum builds that in turn breeds confidence and gives an air of invincibility. Thing is, let's say we win 7, draw 2 and lose just 2 of the 11 games remaining, that would be an absolutely fantastic return. It almost certainly...

Season ticket rethink ? ..the Robins factor.

Hope you're right, but I think if he plays some games now until the end of the season he will be in demand in the summer. Slade said he was almost ready to come back last week.

    Oggy

Bugger this for a game of soldiers, I'm changing my avatar to Tony Mowbray!! Grrr.....

Season ticket rethink ? ..the Robins factor.

Yeah, I am sure Beavon will stay now. He's not getting any younger. We have him until the end of next season.

    ROBINS CONFIRMED...ON THE OFFAL...

Ah right, with you now. Just that a lot of people have accused Robins of talking bollocks last time re the Sky Blue blood etc. I had no problem with him saying that, or then him then leaving. I'm sure if such a good offer hadn't have come him he would indeed have stayed loyal to us.

Season ticket rethink ? ..the Robins factor.

Maybe. Definitely some I WOULD like to keep though. Stokes would be fantastic in League Two for instance. No way we are going to keep him is there. Would also like to keep Beavon and Stevenson and Harries and Reilly and maybe Clarke too. Pretty sure Harries and Stevenson will be gone.

    ROBINS CONFIRMED...ON THE OFFAL...

Have I? Aren't you saying his fresh air talk turned to bollocks last time?
  16. Otis

Season ticket rethink ? ..the Robins factor.

Which now alters my thinking somewhat. I was always of the notion of if we are going down let's get it over and done with asap, but now I do buy into this thinking that Robins can now build momentum going into next season. A good run now, even though us falling short, would give us some hope...

    ROBINS CONFIRMED...ON THE OFFAL...

As I said on another thread, I had no problem with anything he said or did last time. You may love your wife, but if Beyonce came along and offered you free blow jobs every day for the next 3 months don't tell me your head wouldn't be turned. :)

    2012/13 reunion....

The world's oldest man is still younger than Yakubu.
  19. Otis

So, who do we think are the Robins type players here

I didn't mind Clarke myself, but he always had a shocking error in him and I think he gave away quite a few penalties too didn't he.

    ROBINS CONFIRMED...ON THE OFFAL...

Yeah. I remember his first interview too. It was like a breath of fresh air. No nonsense, straight to the point. Always liked his post match interviews. Always felt I had been to the same game as him. Always seemed to be honest in his appraisals and opinions. None of this we played well when...
