    Anyone miss walking past here

Yeah, I remember the Kop days as a little kid, sat my my dad's shoulders vividly and have warm memories of that. At the end though I think I had, had a ST in the main stand for 5+ years and it was all pretty much negative, and as that is the freshest memory, that is what I remember the most.

    Mowbray

I think one of the problems he had and which he admitted to himself was that he didn't know League One at all well. It was all new to him. He obviously has experience of the Championship. I wouldn't say it was a 'love in' as has been mooted, just that he was a thoroughly decent bloke and he...

Good luck to him. Really hope it works out there.

    Next Seasons Manager?

We had limited options for sure. Both Thomas's had knocks and Beavon of course was missing. Ideally we would have liked to have taken Tudgay off as he was seemingly beginning to run through treacle, but having to bring RCC on really left Slade with a big headache.

    Next Seasons Manager?

If we go down though it surely WILL be an almost total clear out and a start from scratch. Big ask at hand then.

    Next Seasons Manager?

All over us? I wouldn't quite say that. Yes, we were on the back foot and holding on quite a bit, but first half we should have been out of sight and played really well. A game of course is 90 mins. Had the situation been reversed and we had been poor in the first half, but then played really...

    Relegation thread

Think this needs bumping. This is who are rivals play this weekend. Fingers heavily crossed they go our way and we also win our game too. They all look like tough games for those above us.

I agree with all that, Shmmeee.

Must confess, I prefer walking up to the Ricoh. People moan how shitty Far Gosford Street is now, well I don't think I need to tell you, it was a lot shittier back then when we played there.

    Next Seasons Manager?

I have advocated getting rid of Slade, but that was only because I thought that maybe a new guy at the helm might bring a honeymoon period and produce a few wins to give us a whisper of a chance. Otherwise I would say keep him. Also for me, the thinking is in terms of who is going to be in...

Any news on new signings ?

Wingers, yep. I would be looking to replace Kyel Reid and I think that maybe what Slade has been looking at, someone who can deliver quality balls into the box on a regular basis.

Weird isn't it. The season has been bloody awful, one of the worst for many years (only 5 wins in 32 games), yet, if we were to survive and then go on and win a Wembley trophy too it will surely go down as one of the most exciting finishes ever in our history.

Anyone up for a bit of bogus bidding? :D

I agree. I still don't think we will sell out.

Yeah, can understand why people miss it, just not me. As we were on a downturn before we left the place that is what sticks with me the most. Had we left the place at the top of our game and on the back of recent success I might well have felt differently.

Win the next two and it could all change, but we have to win those next two fixtures. Winning breeds confidence, so if we can win 3 on the trot I think we will be totally buzzing. Looks an absolutely mammoth task at the moment, but two more wins on the bounce and it could suddenly look so...

Match Thread Coventry v Wycombe Match Thread - Tuesday 7th Feb

Funny old game isn't it. One defeat can bugger up an unbeaten run and one win can maybe change a club's terrible losing fortunes. Wycombe were on a fantastic unbeaten run when they played us. Since losing to us in the EFL Trophy they have gone on to lose 4 league games on the trot. Let's hope...

    Anyone miss walking past here

Nope. Don't miss it at all, not for a single second. I am and always have been though a 'move on' kind of guy. Same with everything. I had a job for 20 years and they then closed the place down and we all got made redundant. People were walking around in a daze, shocked and some in floods...
