    Yakubu

Well yeah, but very unlikely I would have thought. As he hasn't played at all this season that would be a massive, massive gamble. Would also mean the club have held back on the fact that we have signed him. He would have had to have been registered and signed yesterday in order for him to...

    Yakubu

Just a guess, but as he didn't feature at all for the U21's last night, I would say that he has either ... 1. No level of fitness about him whatsoever and needs to work on his fitness in training sessions first Or 2. Slade took one look at him and decided he wasn't for us. Think we were all...

    Win tonight certain relegation ?

    Yup!! Bring it on!!

    Chris Stokes

It's very irritating. Maybe the club are keeping schtum on injuries, but sure as hell CWR never seem to ask. On Stokes - RS - 'He came off with tight groin.' A week or so later ..... CWR - 'How is Chris Stokes progressing?' Why on earth is that simple thing not happening?

Where did I rant??? Totally rantless I would say. Was a reasoned post in reply.

Help needed tomorrow pre kick off

I'm sure someone said we should all rock up to the Ricoh tonight.

I do think being live on TV makes a massive difference. Hard to guage how much higher the attendance would be, but being on TV does paint a distorted picture.

    Win tonight certain relegation ?

Eh? How do you come to that conclusion? Keeper - Been Burge for league games, RCC for the EFL Trophy. Ineligible - Rawson, Foley, Vernam, Clarke. None of these can play in any EFL Trophy game. Players like DKE, Lameiras and Jones, have only really been featuring as starters for the most...

So we just need the rock and the scissors, is that what you are saying?

    Relegation thread

Yep, get all that, but don't you want to see your team win, whatever game it is, whatever the competition? I get about not being excited enough to go up, but to not even watch it on TV I don't get at all. I am even happy when the U18's win, or the U21's win, or we win a friendly. You'd watch...

Help needed tomorrow pre kick off

Not being funny, CJ, but for the white paper why didn't you just ask on here? We all surely have A4 white paper and could have had that covered from the off, only needing then the sky blue to go with it. I would have gladly brought a team of paper along. It's a shame the cameras are...

    Chris Stokes

I hate this lack of information through to the fans. It has almost been that Thomas and Stokes haven't even existed at times this season.

Match Thread Coventry v Wycombe Match Thread - Tuesday 7th Feb

From what I saw of Wycombe they look a very big, strong physical team. I always worry with the likes of Lameiras against such opposition. He quite often gets out-muscled. I suppose if we deploy trickery and then come steaming in we might get a red card or two out of them. Not sure what tactics...

Coventry City v Wycombe EFL Trophy

Just read a bit more about him and Ainsworth reckons Pierre is the best centre back in League Two. Could be to our advantage with him missing.

Match Thread Coventry v Wycombe Match Thread - Tuesday 7th Feb

Not sure picking a team of footballers is a good thing. The pitch was poor on Saturday and then Wasps played on it and it has rained a lot today. It looks like it is going to be boggy and heavy and therefore not the best for playing football on the deck.

Coventry City v Wycombe EFL Trophy

Just had a quick look at Wycombe's local news and they are saying Aaron Pierre is almost certainly out for tomorrow's game. He is a big CB and has played 26 times for them this season, so a first team regular. Also says that Paul Hayes, their striker, came off at halftime with a knock on Saturday.
