I don't think I had covid, I think I had a cold and the LFT says I'm negative. What I'm saying is would a PCR test say the same thing? Plenty of cases (including a post today) where a LFT is negative but a PCR is positive

You have to say we as a country are over testing, the more tests we do then of course the more cases we have which makes things look worse.
The most important figures are the hospitalisations and deaths and as far as I can see they remain low which is excellent news!

No chance, I'm fine and my immediate family I'm with over Xmas are fine so not going to risk any plans with a week to go!

I've said this a couple of times on this thread. If the government want to promote the vaccines properly they should push to show the figures of those in hospital that aren't vaccinated. I still cannot understand why they don't do that as surely that gives people the incentive.

Stop getting tested, simple
I came down with cold earlier in the week and took a LFT just in case which came back negative. The cynic in me says I would've tested positive if I went for an official PCR test

I phoned them up earlier as I was after kegs/containers of Ghost Town lager but they said they weren't going to stock them and he primary aim was to help people during lockdown. Shame really, think they missed a trick over Xmas!

The fact hospital admissions and deaths are still low either proves the booster programme is going well or Omicron isn't as severe as the government/media are making out

Never a penalty, West Ham player got the ball.
VAR didn't overrule as it wasn't 'clear and obvious' as the West Ham player caught the Arsenal player, ref has has a shocker
