Shame we didn't keep this one.

Yeah. We told him we were letting him go in November, so that would be Venus. He would now look very foolish if he went back on that decision I would have thought.

    Robins first fixture target

6 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats would be excellent. That would leave us ending up on 47 points and clearly relegated, but it would be a very decent run.

    Oggy

Was he trying to save a penalty at the time?

    Robins first fixture target

We have indeed been making it easier. While those above us have been putting up a fight and picking up points, we have just been sliding and sliding and sliding and the gap just seems to be getting larger and larger.

    So who's around next season...

Yep. Far, far too infrequent, yet the guy clearly had skill.

The Walking Dead - Season 7

Yeah, I do get that, but for me, Rosita, Sasha and Eugene are all very weak characters and not richly drawn enough to carry any weight. Morgan I think is a great character, tortured and conflicted. I like Jesus too and then obviously there is Rick, Michonne, Daryl, Carol. I am even warming to...

The Walking Dead - Season 7

The other thing annoying me is the Rosita obsession thing. Yeah, we all get you want to kill Negan, but... 1. It is almost certain to fail (one or two lone gunmen against multiple hundreds of Saviours) And 2. If they managed it what do they think would happen to all their friends and...

The Walking Dead - Season 7

I'm not 100%, but wasn't this the deer they used for that scene?

The Walking Dead - Season 7

Stunned me too. How did the producers pass that as being okay? It was dreadful.

Shame we didn't keep this one.

If I were Lawton I would be knocking on Robins' door. Have a feeling though that it may well have been Venus that released Lawton rather than Slade. That could prove more tricky.

The Walking Dead - Season 7

Totally agree. They are definitely stretching things out. It's seems sometimes like it's going into Lost territory and focusing on one character each week.

    So who's around next season...

I wonder if Kyle Spence will get a look in? He looked very raw when he played, but was quick and very tricky. Think his contract is up in the summer. Wonder if we will offer him another one?

    Cov v Oxford final

Ahh, I remember it well. It was raining, my Auntie Vi's false eye had fallen out while she was making the strawberry trifle and the British government were still scouring the Albert Hall for Hitler's left testicle. Fond memories.

Did so for Leicester didn't it?

That was actually known as the Slade Splat.

Yeah, call me sentimental, but I do like my heroes to be good guys too. Makes me feel better about liking them as players.

The Walking Dead - Season 7

The CGI/superimposed deer at the fairground was naff. Looked incredibly cheaply done. Also the Samurai sword bit was like something out of an Indiana Jones film. A good episode though, yeah.

    And some momentum.
  19. Otis

    The biggest fixture

Yeah. Depends of course with what happens elsewhere, but if we get within 7 points of safety, I would say any league game coming up under that scenario would be much more important.

    Robins first fixture target

I would feel a tad more confident if Bury and Oldham were both on the slide, but they are not. They are going the other way. On current form both teams are in the top 10. We could really do with a team on a monumental slide.
