If I had a stack of apology letters I'd be saying there's the proof, surely you can't fine someone for telling the truth that's been backed up by the refs themselves?
No idea when we are actually going to get a penalty again at this point. Frustrating match deserved a draw minimum. Defence all over the place again which seems to happen when we switch up personale.
Honestly don't think it's as bad as some are making out lots of chances both ends. mVE looks off colour to me. Passing getting crisper and Rudi coming on to the game a bit more as the half went on.
What I am liking about Simms this time is he has been dropped and instead of letting it hit his confidence he pops up and scores a lovely goal. That is different to the Simms of the past who may have let it knock him out of his stride.
Honestly, as much as I want to join the panic train... I think we all need to chill the fuck out. Really tough set of fixtures, most congested part of the year with a bug that seems to have impacted a lot of players. Take a breath everyone.
I still think a lot of the reason for the defeat sits at the players feet way more than Lampards. I can't remember a game this season with the volume of shit passes turning over possession as we had in the first half and it wasn't just one player. Add in to that the forwards making bad decisions...
He absolutely did cause he was wound up. If someone stuck a thumb up my arse I'd be wound up too... Sexual harassment and a trip to a police cell in the streets but the ref was like... Nah mate looks fine.
It goes way deeper than that is changes the mindset of our players they get frustrated and do daft things like EMC shoulder barging furlong at every chance and stops the flow. We weren't at our best tonight but let's not pretend we should have had at least one penalty.
