I think that's to do with timing though. If not for the court case yesterday, they probably would have delayed announcing him as the new owner until after EFL approval, at which time he will be free to say a lot more. No point until then Really.

There have been obscure references to investment for some time now, including a few remarks made by MR. It fits with the Times article too. It is a shame it couldn't have been done sooner but I suppose it makes sense that they would get it over the line in time for a cheeky pitch for the stadium.

I think he will and that MA will nurture the club rather than distressing it while he settles in at CBS and gets it running as it should. Approach to buy CCFC can now safely wait until he is ready as the club is hopefully no longer distressed.

I think this is the most reasonable assumption from today.
