Yep, you're probably right. Brandon Thomas-Asante's place in the starting line up is the difference between us being a team of all-conquering Championshp supermen and a bunch of mentally shot lower mid-table plodders. We missed his energy, no question, but adjustments should and could have...

It may have been a factor but it's over-simplifying to blame one thing. Disruption from illness, naively continuing with the same tactics when they stopped giving us the same results, and general mismanagement of the squad hurt us way more than the loss of any one player.

To a point that's true, but to throw it away from the position we were in would be a pretty abject failure. The form didn't have to be sustainable, we had a margin for error and could afford a drop off in results. What we had to do was avoid collapsing. We've conspicuously failed to do that.

Grand. We've shown we handle that really well.

On current form, only Rushworth. But our players haven't become shit over night; they have no confidence and are out of form. Just like they weren't world beaters when we were winning every week. Just as Boro's aren't world beaters now.

Just googled, and it suggests United with a soft spot for Wednesday. Too nice to dislike his team's rivals; that's quite in keeping with his public image. ETA: supposed to quote Gynns.

And everyone means they think he is 'uninterested'. The referee is disinterested.

First contact in the opposition's penalty area

Kitching's form's fallen down a hole, and Thomas has lost all semblance of discipline. You can't pick centre halves to attack set pieces. Both need some time out of the side.

    Our Two Strikers

Wright's always been a scapegoat. It's because he's not a blood-and-thunder striker, but one who relies more on stealth. He does seem to have confidence issues, though, and has always had periods of disappearing within himself. But accusations of laziness or being uninterested are well wide of...

    Transfer Rumour Romain Esse

I disagree. He gives us an unpredictability and ability to go past opponents that we previously didn't have. Considering that we desperately needed options on the wing, what kind of player do you think we should have brought in? He was frustrating today, but do you genuinely think he hasn't...

    Transfer Rumour Romain Esse

Lacks experience and tactical discipline, but extremely talented and carries more of a threat than Saka (whose main assets are tactical discipline and intelligence). There will be games that favour one over the other.
