It's getting ridiculous
This game tonight has a long way to go. Sheff Utd looking dangerous.
And it's mad to say we can't beat Boro. Course we can.
If these are both too good for us and that's the way football pans out, how did Macclesfield beat Crystal Palace in the cup?
We will...
Yeah, I am thinking so too. And Rudoni and Wright owe us big performances. Torp too.
All been a bit of a shadow of themsleves and as to how they were earlier on in the campaign
I said Oxford would be a tough game.
They are all going to be pretty tough now, now we are getting to the business end of the season and teams are either fighting for their survival, or fighting to go up.
We still should have won of course. It was one of those days, especially for Wright. He...
It's mad really and so melodramatic. 😂
"If we draw against Oxford it will be disastrous."
Hull lost, so we gained a point on them. If Sheff Utd beat Middlesbrough tonight, we will have gained a point on them too
So clearly by definition, not disastrous. But let's see what happens tonight...
Yup.
I and many, many others kept saying, even when we were well clear and looked certain to go up, that the squad was too small. Was the one thing that made me feel we might not make it
It's been as clear as day. So frustrating.
Surely it's much better to jump the gun and overreact, than be more reasoned and rational. 😂
We haven't even seen Frank The Tank tread on a blade of grass yet. Can we at least give HIM a chance to show what he can do and if he can change our fortunes at all?
We have had a series of poor decisions lately.
That non sending off on Saturday was truly, head-scratchingly bizarre.
Plus we've had lots and lots of really valid penalty claims too.
Be nice though if Boro don't win tonight.
That would put more pressure on us. A draw or defeat for them means we go into next Monday's game still top.
If Boro were to win this evening, therefore overtaking us tonight at the top, I think we would feel more pressure to win next week.
We definitely CAN beat Boro. Not saying we will, but our home form is excellent and you have to believe we have a real chance.
Need to treat it like a cup final.
Even if we lost say the next two or three, we would still be odds on certainties for the playoffs, so I just can't see King sacking Lampard this season. Not while we still have a chance.
Who on earth would you bring in anyway? 🤷🏻♂️
