The Walking Dead - Season 7

Totally agree. They are definitely stretching things out. It's seems sometimes like it's going into Lost territory and focusing on one character each week.

    So who's around next season...

I wonder if Kyle Spence will get a look in? He looked very raw when he played, but was quick and very tricky. Think his contract is up in the summer. Wonder if we will offer him another one?

    Cov v Oxford final

Ahh, I remember it well. It was raining, my Auntie Vi's false eye had fallen out while she was making the strawberry trifle and the British government were still scouring the Albert Hall for Hitler's left testicle. Fond memories.

That was actually known as the Slade Splat.

Yeah, call me sentimental, but I do like my heroes to be good guys too. Makes me feel better about liking them as players.

The Walking Dead - Season 7

The CGI/superimposed deer at the fairground was naff. Looked incredibly cheaply done. Also the Samurai sword bit was like something out of an Indiana Jones film. A good episode though, yeah.

    And some momentum.

    The biggest fixture

Yeah. Depends of course with what happens elsewhere, but if we get within 7 points of safety, I would say any league game coming up under that scenario would be much more important.

    Robins first fixture target

I would feel a tad more confident if Bury and Oldham were both on the slide, but they are not. They are going the other way. On current form both teams are in the top 10. We could really do with a team on a monumental slide.

    Robins first fixture target

Just 3 wins, 1 draw and 6 defeats (a pretty awful run) would still bring Bury to the magical 50 point mark.

    Robins first fixture target

We certainly need them to fail badly for us to have any chance, mds.

Season ticket rethink ? ..the Robins factor.

We would then need two keepers though. Burge's contract is up, so I would be inclined to bring a new keeper in and have RCC as back up.

    So who's around next season...

He's the only player I can remember who made a 4 year contract feel like a 14 year one. What a waste of space he was. You could almost set a clock by him and it would be be one good game from him for every four or five matches.

Prediction time - 11 games to go

Yeah, slightly optimistic there that the League will be kind to us and slip and extra couple of games in without others noticing. We need to win 8 out of 11.

    Robins first fixture target

I think we can go on an excellent run with Robins and once momentum builds that in turn breeds confidence and gives an air of invincibility. Thing is, let's say we win 7, draw 2 and lose just 2 of the 11 games remaining, that would be an absolutely fantastic return. It almost certainly...

Season ticket rethink ? ..the Robins factor.

Hope you're right, but I think if he plays some games now until the end of the season he will be in demand in the summer. Slade said he was almost ready to come back last week.

Bugger this for a game of soldiers, I'm changing my avatar to Tony Mowbray!! Grrr.....

Season ticket rethink ? ..the Robins factor.

Yeah, I am sure Beavon will stay now. He's not getting any younger. We have him until the end of next season.

    ROBINS CONFIRMED...ON THE OFFAL...

Ah right, with you now. Just that a lot of people have accused Robins of talking bollocks last time re the Sky Blue blood etc. I had no problem with him saying that, or then him then leaving. I'm sure if such a good offer hadn't have come him he would indeed have stayed loyal to us.
