    Why Does Mowbray Escape Criticism?

I get the feeling though if he hadn't have walked he would have just got sacked further down the line.

    Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!!

Great plan but no draws in cup finals. That's unfortunately where it all falls down.

    Burge

Burge would drop the rag, burning or not.

I like that idea. Can we try and do that too!

A little bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Michael Appleton says his Oxford side are jaded. He doesn't think they can make the play-offs. Hopefully still jaded on Sunday 2nd April. Be nice if they have a touch of food poisoning too mind and several key injuries. We need all the help we...

    Burge

I think he's better than Burge isn't he?

    Official relegation date

Looking at the fixtures I am going to guess at wins against Charlton and Walsall at home and then one out of Port Vale or Bristol Rovers, again at home. I don't think we will win away for the rest of the season. This will therefore leave us with one single away win for the whole campaign.

    Official relegation date

Yes. I am confident we will. I did think Robins would turn things around completely and we would finish the season well (though still be relegated), but I am going to reassess that now. 9 games left. I will go for 3 wins, 4 defeats, 2 draws, or 3 wins, 5 defeats, 1 draw.

    Why Does Mowbray Escape Criticism?

The bit I don't get is that Venus (quite rightly) said that this squad is not good enough for League One, yet he was responsible for assembling that squad with Mowbray. In saying that was he basically admitting that he himself was shit?

    Why Does Mowbray Escape Criticism?

This has all been done to death, but the summer recruitment was the catalyst to this disaster of a season. It can all be traced back to there. We recruited dreadfully and assembled a team ill equipped to compete in this league. Slade then came in and made things worse, but we were already...

    Burge

What on earth is Burge doing there for that first goal? Bizarre.

    Burge

Puzzles me as to why Slade came in and then Robins and both have chosen Burge ahead of Cook. They must be seeing something we as fans are not seeing, because from the stands the vast majority agree that RCC is a better (or less worse ) keeper than Burge.

I'm the opposite. Maybe I'm just strange, but I am just smiling about the whole ridiculous thing. Gallows humour. My daughter is asking me how they got on and I just grin and say we lost again. It's a running joke. Also been resigned to relegation anyway for a while now. Also happy in the...

Would any of our players get into any other League 1 team

I think Beavon would. George Thomas probably too. Stokes, definitely and I would think Stevenson would be fine in a much better side.

    New manager bounce... part 3

Time to blood some youngsters and bog off loans and some players definitely not here next season. We are losing anyway and not scoring anyway. How can it possibly get any worse? Bring Harries in, let the likes of Ponticelli and Spence get some time on the bench, stick with DKE for the rest of...

    So who's around next season...

Unfortunately I can't tell that to anyone without laughing. Call it gallows humour, call it what you want, but I find the whole thing just laughable. Looking very likely the gap may well increase too. Can you imagine ending up say 23 or 24 points adrift?
