    Paulo Di Canio

I don't think politics and football go well together, as a manager, I judge him on his previous results, which are good, I'd be happy for him to be our manager, so long he doesn't involve his politics with our football, which tbf to him, I don't think he's done that at Swindon. P.S. I'm...

Im convinced we should stick with Carsley until the end of the season.

Could be, but Carsley may have his own ideas, like Thorn when he came in, however, I don't think it's worth the risk, we should just get a new manager, new ideas implemented before preseason, whether or not we gain promotion, he can entrench his system into the players before the start of 13/14...

    SISU's new problem

That rebate sounds 'fishy' to me, why should we pay 400k and get 100k back, why not just 300k with no rebates, my scepticism could be misplaced, but I just don't see the point, there's got to be a catch.

    SISU's new problem

Fair enough. It's only 4 months less than the national average in 2010, and it's probably gone down even more, average is just 15 months, Coleman and Thorn had longer than this. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/21052010/58/premier-league-managers-1-4-years-jobs.html

    SISU's new problem

I'm quoting the figure MR gave.

    SISU's new problem

Well I suppose you would if we're talking to zooologists. Oh, you meant the animals, probably would.
  7. Mucca Mad Boys

    SISU's new problem

Thanks for clearing it up, he's officially 'really stupid'.
  8. Mucca Mad Boys

Im convinced we should stick with Carsley until the end of the season.

No, we have the rest of the season to play for, we can still get promoted, it's really close in the playoffs so if we get in the playoffs we could easily find ourselves knocking on the door of autos if results went our way. Why waste time I say.
  9. Mucca Mad Boys

    SISU's new problem

Just out of curiosity, how do you know?
  10. Mucca Mad Boys

    Paulo Di Canio

So did Mark Robins at Barnsley.
  11. Mucca Mad Boys

    SISU's new problem

I find myself thinking the same, well said.
  12. Mucca Mad Boys

    Paulo Di Canio

That surely can't be right? :thinking about:
  13. Mucca Mad Boys

    Keith Curle

Get Di Canio, only decent, realistic manager out there.
  14. Mucca Mad Boys

    SISU's new problem

For teams like Chelsea, yes, but not for CCFC, it's a case of, 'oh shit, we might get relegated with this manager!' Only SISU manager unlucky to get the sack was Hoofroyd, although I still welcome his sacking.
  15. Mucca Mad Boys

    SISU's new problem

But it isn't, so get back to the 'real world', football is performance based occupation, whether you're a player or manager, you don't get results, you get sacked and Coleman, Thorn definitely deserved the sack, in fact, the MR revival is a vindication of this decision, yet you still, genuinely...

    Available managers

Dyche is a good manager, but he's at Burnley, apart fom that, I agree with you on all of them.
  17. Mucca Mad Boys

    SISU's new problem

Pretty sure sacking Thorn worked out, Norwich sacking Gunn worked out, look at them, Pardew getting sacked from S'hampton worked for them... BTW, in this 'real world' of yours, a manager's average lifespan is 11 months, Coleman and Thorn were well over that.
  18. Mucca Mad Boys

    SISU's new problem

They weren't his targets at all!
  19. Mucca Mad Boys

    SISU's new problem

If only 'Bullshit Man' existed, he'd be busy when CJ gets on.
  20. Mucca Mad Boys

    SISU's new problem

Please stop, you're embarrassing yourself. I'm glad Coleman got sacked, inept in the market, Eastwood 1.25m, McIndoe 300k, Wood 500k, as well as the others and the expensive freebies, poor tactics, reactionary, made Wright skipper. Merely a rich mans Andy Thorn. Threw away money and a...
