You can hand your season ticket to a friend, the club has confirmed this is okay as long as it is the same category of supporter. Away tickets are likely have harsher terms attached. It's also actually a criminal offence to sell tickets in any end without the permission of the club.

That is what they are meant for though, tickets for players friends and families. So really not sure what you point is? Are you expecting the players to have to use the tickets themselves even though they are playing in the game.
