Needed Torp alongside him today. Eccles was good but too similar in pass selection and unwillingness to shoot from range which IMO held us back second half before the goals. Exciting times. Just need a couple of forwards and everyone to stay fit/not sold and we’re looking a good shout for the...

Got to be honest didn’t think that was a pen either but not watched it back so just going from live.

Then I don’t support the rule. A defender in Thomas’ position should be within their rights to challenge for the ball (and win it!).

As a ref is there any challenge he could make? What if the ball hadn’t ricocheted back and just went off for a throw in or something?

How could Thomas have made that challenge Pete? What’s the approved way? Just let the man go past?

Wouldn’t look out of place in Flying Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I’d still make it legal though :P

Still don’t get this follow through thing. Have people ever kicked a ball? If you’re trying to snap your foot back after contact you aren’t kicking the ball properly. You should kick through the ball. Genuinely baffled.

Genuinely feel sad for all these other teams that watch us do a normal win celebration and liken it to them celebrating winning a trophy. Get gud noobs.

Im not arguing the rules. Im saying the rules are stupid and made by people watching slow mo replays with no basis in reality. What do you want Thomas to do there? Not make a challenge?

Was never a yellow. The ball ended up closer to the kicking spot than when he started! And their many did it and got nothing.

Exactly this. Wanting players to what exactly? Snap their leg back in the moment? Ridiculous expectations.

Don’t get me started on the high feet rule. Game is football. Any rule that technically makes bicycle kicks illegal is a stupid rule.

Enjoyed the Leicester fan getting kicked out of his box when they scored as well. Muppet.

Disagree. That kind of challenge for the pen is absolutely not what I want to see punished. Winning the ball and colliding is fundamentally different from not touching the ball IMO.

I hope he is and he’s got little gifs on cards that he shows players.

This team will be better than the 22/23 team

Funny what a contract requirement can do.
