Though he got skinned once and made a couple of poor passes, overall I thought Camwell looked pretty promising. Nullified their winger on a number of occasions and appears to have a lovely cross on him.
I think he will get a fair bit of game time this season and can see him covering for Stokes...
And with Doyle and Kelly in there tonight it would have been a completely different ball game.
Think we should just dismiss it as a chance to try out some youngsters. The league is where it's at and I expect us to bounce back on Saturday no problem.
Okay, so not bothered about going out the competition. Robins clearly saw this as an opportunity to blood some youngsters.
The only thing worrying me is what are we going to do if Doyle or Kelly are injured or suspended. Worrying that we don't seem to have anyone else to come in.
Shipley...
Yep. It's a game of little importance though compared to the league. Only hope in this competition is a big draw against a top club to fill the coffers.
Okay, so, bright and breezy and looking pretty sharp and dangerous on the break. Far too many silly mistakes though and some suicidal passing moves around our own box.
Nazon looking good, but 3 times now he has brought play back towards his own team mates only to have taken the ball straight...
Apologies if this has already been covered, but I've not read through the whole thread. If drawing at 90 mins is it extra time then penalities, or just pens? No replays in this League Cup is there.
Yeah, Bronn was a gonner, let's face it, so a bit of a kop out there to my mind. Would have just be that much better of an episode (brilliant though it still very much was) if they had killed off Bronn or Jamie.
Same here. I always admire a show that can kill off a major character. Would have been the icing on the cake of the episode for me. Would have moved it from superb to utterly sublime.
