Loads of them in Coventry. Mega rich ones. But back to Las Iguanas. Just checked their menu. You can't seriously be telling me that students regularly eat there, Grendel! Quick look at their menu. Steaks £18.50 £18.50 £18.95 £10.95 £12.95 Burgers £12.95 £12.95 £9.95 £11.95 Mexican £11.95...

As I've said before, I love Liverpool. Took my daughter once and within about 2 or 3 hours she declared she wanted to live there.

Especially not Los Iguanas. You are looking at around £11-£13 plus for many of their main course meals. I find it a bit expensive for what it is. Niw put yourself in a student mindset. Have seen student looking types (mainly Chinese and/ or Far East) in Wagamama, but don't think I have ever...

Hmm, interesting. I have always said it would be perfect for them. The Coventry Wilkinson is sometimes the top selling store in the country. Can thank the students for that. They wipe the stationary department clear of stock every day.

    Visiting a Doctor.

My missus is really bad. She stores them up, rings the doctor and says it's one problem, then turns up and unleashes a whole list of ailments on the poor unsuspecting GP.

Yep. 100 times better. Out of the 3 altogether (Natural History, V&A and the Science) the Science one is by far the worst I would say.

Please tell me more on Wilko's moving to a new store. :) My wife works there. No word at all of moving, only of giving up the first floor for restaurants and having just the ground floor for the store. Be very interested to know if you've heard different.

    Visiting a Doctor.

No, never had that, hotrod. Always been in for how ever long it has taken. Think one time last year I was in with the doctor for a good 25 mins or more. They had to ascertain 3 opinions. :)

That's where the restaurants and new water park should help. Oh and on the museum front, I think I hold the world record. Took my daughter to the Science Museum in London last year and we were literally in there for 12 mins. Walked in one end, walked straight through and back out again. She...

    New Dr Who

Both great actors though. Not particularly drawn to their movies, but you usually get a top notch performance from them. Cruise has become a bit samey and stale though lately I would say.

So why open 9 new restaurants? They are saying that the 3 there already at Cathedral Lanes are all doing well and that is why 9 more are happening. Why build them if hardly anyone is going to the city centre?
