This. 100% this. I don't know if it's instinct, or if it's coached, but to work so hard to get down the flanks and then come back inside every time is just immensely frustrating. At least mix it up a bit and make the full back work for a living.

Nothing I'd argue with here, except that to me "anti-football" is this idea that possession is all that matters. There's literally nothing more anti-football to me, than having possession of the ball in the opposition third, and it somehow ending up with it being passed back to your centre half...

I think it was because of the level of frustration at Wright, and in general mate. A fit EMC offers a lot more than Wright in that position, imho. Whether Wright offers more than Simms down the middle is one I'm genuinely not sure about, neither is looking great at the moment.
