    Ukip

Hmmm, interesting this one, there's a lot of hype around UKIP at the minute, but they don't have a single parliamentary seat, I doubt they'll get a single seat in 2015 because pragmatic right voters will vote Tory. As a socialist, I disagree with UKIP and what they stand for, but, UKIP have a...

Fergie to resign this week ?

    Great judgement, as per usual.

    have our council done enough

The Royal Family doesn't bring in tourism. Firstly, London is a 'super city' that people will visit/conduct business with or without a monarchy. Secondly, people will continue to visit Buckingham Palace, without or without a monarchy, look at China who have guided tours around the Fobidden...

    have our council done enough

What!? There's no advantage of having a monarchy, none whatsoever, the whole monarchy debate is flawed on the royalist side... The Windsors should've been the first thing the Tories cut, biggest scrounges in this country, oh god, you've got me started! Off with their heads! Vive le republique!

    have our council done enough

I agree with most of that, on one hand, we have a council with a clear conflict of interest, but on the other, completely incompetent owners for as long as I've supported the club and before that as well, we have the worst of both worlds, sadly, but for many people, they only see only 1 'worst...

    have our council done enough

But do the public care enough to carry out scrutiny of CCC's actions. Look at the reaction on here after SISU took CCC to court over the ACL bail out, if CCC have done nothing wrong, that's ok, but what if they have, the people who criticised the decision obviously didn't care about scrutiny and...

    have our council done enough

No I wasn't, I said the CCC has no mandate - from the electorate, and the phrase 'elected representatives' is used to purify ACL - to make decisions on the RICOH.

    have our council done enough

Not really. A party voted in on it's manifesto, no matter how vague it is, has a mandate to make changes to the constitution, economy etc. but Labour weren't voted on any promises to do with the RICOH, so this 'elected body' nonsense doesn't hold much weight in this scenario. Anyway...

How did your post relate to my post in any way? It came from nowhere and as I said, has nothing to do with my post.

    have our council done enough

How does any of your points relate to my post? Do you know what mandate means?

    have our council done enough

... Did we forget the 'bourgeoisie' council as well? I'd also oppose that to, which I do. The context of the situation is this: we live in a capitalist society where there is private equity so I can't be blinkered based on political views (though it bounds to be inextricably linked somewhere)...

    have our council done enough

What mandate does the council have to make any decisions on the RICOH? Is the charity elected also? :thinking about:

    have our council done enough

Well said, I touched on a couple of your points (early help+ Swansea + Donny) but was largely ignored/branded a 'SISU rent boy', I don't see how the CCC can justify bailing out ACL especially when the same council refused to directly aid the club in its prolonged period of need. There's been...

    Aidy Boothroyd

Based on what? He got sacked because our form nosedived (generous term) and we were in serious danger of being sucked into a relegation dog fight, Thorn turned us around and got the job (with hindsight, a disastrous appointment, but he deserved this opportunity). The 'ugly, horrible, steely'...

So I just don't go to school then? Caught me out. Over the keyboard, I can be the PM, in real life, I'm a student, I bet you're bullshitting, unless you're prepared to prove it...

Nail on the head. It's not on principle, it's because they can't be arsed.

I will never support coventry city if they are not in coventry

I go out into town a lot... Just not in exam season, not many people go out (the people ho want to pass anyway). Whilst learning to drive, revising, working, school, gym and sports there's hardly any time, whenever I ask anyone what they're doing, it's revision 8/10. I've got some pretty...
