Clumsy then. Put simply; 'Unless we win the lottery.' Then ... 'We may have just won a little bit on the lottery.'

Yep, but he didn't have to repeat it verbatim.

If You Could Do Something Else ?

Physically lost it, or mentally? Would love to see it.

Yeah, get that and I wasn't expecting millions. He could have worded it better though

    Transfer Rumour #CARLBAKERDAY

Not really fair that though, Grendel. His kids must be young I would imagine, what with him in his early 30's. He said they were City supporters and I am sure they indeed were and probably still are. Kids are kids though and I'm sure when their dad went to Pompey they started supporting them...

I wasn't expecting anything at all until Robins said we might have won the lottery. One out and one in doesn't point to a windfall does it.

If You Could Do Something Else ?

I wanted to do comedy too, Daz, in a double act. I would obviously be the straight man. Always also wanted a troupe, you know, like Monty Python or Not the Nine O'clock News, or Who Dares Wins, that kind of thing.

If You Could Do Something Else ?

Didn't get the chance back then, BRR. Apprenticeship, factory, shop work, college or uni. That was it. I would give my right arm for the choices they have nowadays.

Also, how can they say business has finished in this window while there are still two and a half hours left? Are they seriously trying to tell us that if a £3m offer came in for Jones they would say 'Sorry, our business is done?'

Could be key phrasing saying in this window. As has been alluded to, if he's a free agent we can get him tomorrow. That wouldn't be in the window.

The lottery win thing was a nonsense then. One in, one out.

    Charles Cook Gone

Well I was of course talking past tense. If Burge is now more confident and assured, all well and good.

    Charles Cook Gone

I think it was simpler than that. Burge was dithery and nervous and Cook quite the opposite, being over confident. I simply think fans liked a keeper who would come and try and claim everything and was quite verbal. Burge would stay on his line when RCC would come flying out. They both made...

Exactly. As I pointed out, the comment all 4 preferred Burge is wrong. RCC started the season under TM and kept his place, playing every single game until Mowbray left. Venus we all agree was clueless. What happened then and quite often DOES happen, is a new manager comes in and tries not to...

Errm not too sure about that at all. In fact, RCC played every game under Mowbray last season, so 12 in all until TM got sacked/walked away. 10 league games, 2 cup matches. Surely that very much points to Mowbray preferring Cook and not clearly at all as you alluded.

I'd take Henderson back like a shot. Captain for Liverpool and regular England international.
