    Acl back on cwr again

Exactly right. It seems the only evidence they had in the first place that they couldn't play at the Ricoh was SISU saying they couldn't. Now it must be very clear to them that the option to play there still exists but SISU aren't interested. Just tell them they're not allowing the groundshare...

Just over 2 weeks before the season starts

Appleton and / or the league need to make some sort of statement on this. As I understand the rules you are correct and we can only play at Sixfields if out of admin. Looking at the timescales it will not be possible to be out of admin by the start of the season so presumably we have to play at...

    Transfer Embargo!!

they will allow transfers if and when the number of squad players drops past a certain level. can't remember who classes as a squad player but I think you only have to be on the bench a couple of times to be counted hence why Pompey refused to put their younger players on the bench last season...

    Acl back on cwr again

So if Joy wants the CVA signed off before any meeting I can only see 2 reasons: 1) she doesn't really want the meeting and is using this as a way out 2) they're getting worried that there is going to be an investigation I don't see how, after these developments, the FL can still say there is no...

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

Def say no to the CVA then as there needs to be an investigation Sounds like ACL have tabled the offer directly the the FL to show CCFC can play at the Ricoh, question now will be what happens when Joy says no. Is this the first time ACL have confirmed they will speak to Otium? Fisher can't...

    Northampton Train Station on Matchdays

are there any clashes with the rugby as well, sure there was something in their local paper about rugby not being able to move fixtures due to TV. That could mean 3 sets of fans arriving at the station and 2 sets of fans already in town drinking (NTFC and Saints). That's going to be fun for the...

WHAT IF !! cov was sold in 3 years to another team ! (lets say CELTIC)

didn't Rangers look into taking over another team when they were kicked out of the SPL?

Gary Hoffman’s long-distance attempt to meet Coventry City’s chief Tim Fisher

the thing about the Hoffman offer is it has made it very public knowledge that the Ricoh is available and can be used by CCFC. the timing is surely not coincidental with ACL meeting with the FL today. the FL have so far justified the groundshare on the 'there's no other option' basis, that's now...

We have to open at the Ricoh ?

The club aren't without a ground, they can play at the Rioch! Maybe PA should have agreed a 1 year deal with ACL on a similar basis to the last 3 games of last season so there is no question of being without a ground or unable to fulfil fixtures. Is there not a league rule that states you can't...

    Next Steps - A Question

guess partly depends on the plans, if any ever materialise, and location but I don't think we have to worry too much about objecting. Sure wherever it is there will be lots of local residents to do that for us.

A question for those in the know...

if you recall the didn't contest the points deduction so accepted that Ltd was the football club. they claim the player contracts are with holdings, which I guess they are as Appleton must surely have checked but that doesn't answer the question of whether the FL knew they had been moved. They...

Is the Football League complict too ?

I think the situation is more a case that SISU are threatening court action if they don't get the golden share. if they have it they have no need to take action, if they don't have it then they aren't a member of the FL and can't have it taken off them.

Is the Football League complict too ?

It's nothing to do with law it's a FL rule. remember Leeds started making threats and the league told them go any further and you'll find yourself without a golden share.

    If ACL forced the liquidation..

has it yet been established if the transfer of players from ltd to holdings was authorised by the FL? if there's no valid player registrations for the players in holdings then the contracts themselves mean nothing don't they?

    If ACL forced the liquidation..

Why is Fisher running around saying if ACL reject the CVA it's liquidation, did I miss the announcement where he was put in charge of the administration process? If the CVA isn't approved surely it goes back to Appleton to either get an improved offer from his preferred bidder, select another...

    Administration History

of course there's no benefit of ownership, they pay rent. Anyone who's ever paid rent knows you don't end up with ownership. Of course when people claim £1.3m is too much for a L1 club they ignore a couple of key points. Firstly when the rent was initially set ACL wanted a sliding scale, more...

ACL move things up a few gears

Can anyone remember what actually happened with mediation? I remember there was a lot of talk from the fans and it was put to Fisher and he squirmed and usual and wouldn't commit to it, from memory ACL were asked after that and said there was no point as SISU would never agree to it which isn't...

Is the Football League complict too ?

the FL have said in the past the reason the F&P test is basically self certification and everyone passes is that they couldn't afford to defend a lengthy court case. Seems all the money they receive is being used on running costs, most likely large salaries for those making the decisions. would...
