    One last chance

You're all talk, what have you got that refutes this? - Net money CCC put into construction of the RICOH is 2m, or some say 10m (either way, still 103m under what it actually cost to construct the RICOH), and used the money from the Tesco deal (that CCFC brokered) to complete the construction...

    No Surrender ACL

Yes, and most of that money that we give to SISU goes back into the club one way or the other, bills, players' wages etc. Now, when you buy a hotdog, pie, fizzy drink for extortionate prices, you wouldn't, well, I wouldn't feel as bad if I knew some of the money went to CCFC, but ironically...

    One last chance

Had the RICOH project failed we would've rented HR, contingency plans sorted out by Sir Higgs himself, so no, had they not stepped, we'd possibly still be in HR, maybe even brought it back (possibly). The CCC and Higgs aren't no messiahs and have benefitted a lot from our position. It's well...

Not A Penny More: The Petition

I wish that were the case. Why would they do that after they've invested much time and money into this project, a few fans saying they won't go up won't make too big a difference at this stage.

Not A Penny More: The Petition

No, a lot of people say they don't go because of SISU, if that were the case, I'm absolutely flabbergasted that we managed to find 22k new supporters for the JPT game v Crewe, I'm sorry, but the reality is that people can't be bothered to support the club until they are playing at a higher...

    Time to fight

What owner actually listens to the fans? Get real. If we were successful, you wouldn't give a shit if they communicated with fans or not, don't have double standards. Besides, you're assuming the fans are always right, yet the majority of us are average people with average intelligence with no...

    Time to fight

Time to fight what? There's been no further developments as of yet, lets see how everything pans out, who knows, a deal to play at the RICOH could be struck, if so, there's no reason to protest because this 'Not One Penny More' nonsense was only a reactionary (somewhat knee jerk) measure to...

sisu buying us out of administration is a good thing

Thing is though, SISU could demand a price that will put off an investor, I think we all ought to accept that SISU will be the owner next season and rally behind the club if we remain at the RICOH.

    city till i die

If CCFC stay at the RICOH, there's no logical or reasonable explanation to boycott.

    One last chance

Some people on here have a very skewed sense of morality.

    One last chance

The council got the RICOH on the cheap and won't sell for market value, they want was it? North of 30m for 50%? When they acquired a stadium that's worth 113m stadium for 2m, whilst, by the time we'd be in a position to pay that (without factoring in that the price could go up by then, perhaps...

sisu buying us out of administration is a good thing

I agree and disagree, with the sentiment, I think at the minute, there is an epidemic of distrust of SISU (with reason) so people will gove that excuse not to go, but when I think 32k (if we had the space, more would've been sold) v Crewe in the JPT suggests that actually, it's success that...

    No Surrender ACL

If ACL were to take this stance, they'd only shoot themselves in the foot, as the RICOH would be sure to become a 'white elephant' but more importantly, CCFC would be forced from the RICOH (something we all ought to avoid?) which would damage the club whilst it moves into HR2 is built as we'd...

    Disaster

We quite obviously aren't moving to Walsall, I'd bet on CCFC staying at the RICOH - whoever is owner.

    ACL isn't letting this drop

I think CCFC are worse off now because of the RICOH. I'd rather own our own basic 23k stadium (Highfield Road) than rent a 'top notch' facility that isn't ours, get no revenues and we have to pay 1.28m (effectively c. 1.5m if you add the missed revenues) for the privilege of playing there.

    The Only way forward !

We're in League 1, that's by no means a death sentence, many of the clubs of similar size to us have had to go down this road and have come back stronger, we have a strong squad that is capable of top 10 at the minute, with signings, playoffs and above IMO, so for the people to want to restart...

Season tickets: to buy or not to buy?

At our level, you'd be lucky if a striker had one of those listed attributes - and I'm pretty sure I'd choose the '20 goal a season striker', the objective of a striker is to score goals, and I don't care if he's got zero-football intelligence, slow etc. as long as he scores goals - that's what...

Season tickets: to buy or not to buy?

In fairness, I can understand people's initial feeling of doubt towards Pressley because I'm not got to sugarcoat it, his record is below expectations at the minute, BUT, (and it is a big but) our main, and a lot of the time, our only source of goals got injured, which left a massive vacuum to...

Season tickets: to buy or not to buy?

Clarke is 'ok'? Only the best in the league (now Madden has gone) and would've finished on 20+ goals easily had he not got injured. People that say 'we need this', 'we need that', but when we get that (in this case a 20 goal-a-season striker) people still moan! What do people seriously expect...
