Anybody else read 'Fahrenheit 451'? I'm about 70 pages in and finding it quite a difficult read. Seems all over the place so far. Furthermore it reads like it's written by a 12 year old who's just learnt what a simile is. It's on quite a few 100 must reads but I'm not seeing the appeal so far.

Its loosely based on it. Similar concepts but the film is a bit more in your face. In the book its more a collection of short stories that intertwine and give the history of robotics, how humans used them and then a slow infiltration of senior roles/politicians etc.

I don't work for the council, so can't answer your question. There's definitely perks to that job he's not disclosing to carry on earning such little pay where he can easily walk into a job paying 10 grand more. Btw, I have stated further back in this thread that I hope he gets his pay rise.

No they haven't, trains to the stadium run right up to about 15 minutes before kick off, then there's one immediately after arriving at the arena around 3:10. Then the first train after the game is about 5:20. Now it's 6:20.

It must be a new thing then as I've caught the train near enough every game.
