That says he was asking for talks. On the radio show Dale Evans says there have been talks and WITH Mark Hornby.

Just listened back to the show and Dale Evans definitely says about 'initial talks with Mark Hornby going very well.' Sending an email in is not talks.

This is easily sorted. Someone just ask Mark Hornby if he remembers forwarding this email on. If he does, great, he can confirm what it was about. If not, it obviously must have been something much less important than a takeover, otherwise he WOULD remember it!

The fact that Mark Hornby says he has never heard of him, yet there is a screenshot of an apparent email that Mark Hornby has forwarded on, kind of points to the email being of so minor importance that no-one would remember what it was about anyway doesn't it?

Yeah, it's clumsy at best and a screenshot of 'I've forwarded your email on' from Mark Hornby proves nothing. That could be the lad just complaining about a hole in the roof and that water's dripping on to his seat. The 'proof' he offers is flimsy.
