He wasn't the only one. MVE made several really good challenges to regain possesion only to give the ball away with his next pass. Probably doesn't put you in as much trouble as when as CB does it which is,why they get more flack. But thought the all did the defensive work OK.

Be great to go in to the break off the back of 2 wins, the sky blue world will be a much happier place. No reason we can't. The extra days rest should come in handy

    Thomas Asante

That sort of hilights the point I made to Brighton that he has it in his locker, Leeds last season was a perfect example. Unfortunately we're getting mainly performances like Leeds last week

The challenge is there for Simms to adapt then. If he up his workrate to anytwhere near that of Asante, then Asantes on the bench

Simms would stand there while he drove off with his parcels

Clearly Simms current playing style isn't suiting the team.

He does it, but he just goes through the motions, there's no intensity. On the occasions he does it with intent he's very good at it but it's nowhere near often enough.

Just seen a picture of Sakamotos gash, (ooh matron). Not nice but probably preferable to a break or ligament damage Edit - he could have one of them as well, shit

Well protecting is their main job. Distribution wise the whole defence wasn't great, even MVE

Match Thread Coventry City - Blackburn Rovers Match Thread - Tuesday 1st Oct

There was a spell of pressure in the 2nd half where he cleared 3 consecutive balls into the box. If we're talking distribution then wasn't great from all the back 4 but first priority was the clean sheet

He was making clearances when we looked under pressure and was streets ahead of Thomas.

Big improvement. Long way to go but much better. Kitching, Wright, Eccles and Rudoni stood out for me .

For those who were there at the start of it all

In the period you're talking about we've come from behind to beat Leicester and Wolves. Pulled Man U back from 3-0 down and beat Leeds. There was nothing wrong with team spirit last season whatever else was, wrong. The apparent issues with attitude have started this season.

To those who want Robins gone now

Then drop them, like he did with Wright. He can't be playing unmotivated players because King and his blowing don't like it.

To those who want Robins gone now

I agree. And as we're currently the only side in the league without a loanee odds are that the teams that go up will utilised the loan market. I would add though that some on the forum have said we did try to bring a loan in but it fell through.

I'm dreading it. Got a bad feeling about things at the moment. I'm normally the last person to welcome an international break but looking forward to the next one.
