SCG meeting tonight - any questions?

why have they not published the fans survey results and tried to blame Football League? where is the new site we were told they would have purchased by now? where are the plans for the new stadium? why is he insisting ACL won't speak to them when ever statement they make says they are happy to...

    The Hill Solution

I don't think it's naive and I have to say I've been shocked at how little support there has been from NTFC. Other clubs fans and trusts were poised and ready to join the fight when they thought they might become involved and support has come from far and wide with pretty much universal...

Lost the battle, but not the War..

the only plan I can see is to starve SISU out. surely at some point they have to give up and walk away as they're going to have to dump tens of millions down a black hole. that said I can't for the life of me understand why they haven't packed up and left before now so who knows. I really can't...

    The Hill Solution

That may be the case but surely NTFC fans must look at who the deal is being done with and worry about it all going horribly wrong.

'Real Football, Real Fans' -Not Really!!

If that's the best they can do then they might as well give up. Seriously how can they look at SISU and say they're fit to run the club. God knows how many embargos, relegation, administration, massive drop in crowds, unpaid bills, rent strikes, huge majority of Cov fans saying they won't go to...

    Can Fisher please show me...

I'd love to know how he's managed to persuade the FL that there is actually a plan for this. "Well we don't have the funding, or a site, or any plans, or planning permission but it is absolutly going to happen I promise. And I would never not tell the truth, just ask the Coventry fans"

    SBT Protest - July 20th

Even if there isn't a match getting the likes of Dion and Hucks to come along would really add some profile and might get press outside of Coventry interested. Can someone from the Trust get in contact with the former players association and see if they will support this (they seem to have...

    SBT Protest - July 20th

I'm going to try and arrange to come up from Pompey (have to move a couple of things around). If I can make it I will be driving up so if there's anyone in that area that needs a lift let me know.

Northampton Town chairman: Coventry City can afford rent

exactly right, how stupid can he be. he's basically come out and told their fans not to worry, the only problem with SISU is they don't pay the rent if they don't feel like it! nothing against NTFC fans but this guy is acting like a prize idiot and it will be NTFC as a whole not this chap who...

Northampton Town chairman: Coventry City can afford rent

Good luck trying to get the other 30% Your fans should be really worried, getting into a deal with SISU can be nothing but bad news. They will find a way to screw you over, you can be sure of that.

Northampton Town chairman: Coventry City can afford rent

have they been paying the rent at the Ricoh? No. Have they been paying the maintenace and repair at Higgs Centre? No. Why would anyone expect this to go smoothly?

Northampton Town chairman: Coventry City can afford rent

Is this guy all there? How can anyone not be concerned about getting paid by SISU? Do they not have internet access in Northampton, surely he could have done a quick check on Google before he got involved in this mess. I think NTFC fans will live to regret the day he ever agreed to this.

a question for those not intending to go to northampton..

also have to consider where we will be by then. I doubt it will be five years and I can easily see us being non league by the time we come back, if we ever do.

    Lobby official club partners

Did you miss the part where the NTFC chairman said, to paraphrase, he didn't care about Coventry so long as he got some cash? If he hadn't agreed to the groundshare we wouldn't be playing there plain and simple. It is at least partially the fault of NTFC that we will be playing there.

a question for those not intending to go to northampton..

Depends where it is but I imagine I would. To be honest I would love to flick a switch and just forget about football and no longer be a supporter but it doesn't work like that. Having said that I can imagine many more casual fans (the type that don't spend all day somewhere like this forum!)...
