Match Thread Coventry v Wycombe Match Thread - Tuesday 7th Feb

Am I alone in enjoying the second half? Yes we were under the cosh and yes I felt nervous throughout but that is football at its best...your team under pressure, can they stand up to it, can win bey weather the storm, have they got the fight. Towards the end we doubled up on headers with...

    WEMBERLEY!!!!!!

It's the only cup we could reasonably win this year....and we are in the final. There are lots of fans of L1 and L2 clubs who are wishing they are in our shoes tonight. PUSB

Have to say the back 4 played superbly. A few mistakes but stood up and were counted...boys became men. DKE best game so far...harries grew as game went on....turnbull stronger than he has been and Haynes defending his position well. For first time this season I'm proud of the team and proud of...

Wycombe fortunately are v poor. One more goal then kill the game. Beavon and Thomas giving their back 4 lot of trouble. And even tudgay working hard. PUSB

Surely three on the bench should be starters. That's a joke. Does slade want a trip to Wembley? PUSB

    Win tonight certain relegation ?

Whether we win or not tonight we are I believe going down. Can't see the team...however slade shuffles the side, staying up. We need approx 2 points a game from now till end of season. Just isn't going to happen. We can't score and regularly concede 2 or more. We are not going to turn a team of...

    Goalkeepers

Reilly and foley seem poor to me...certainly no better than what we have. I would rather see Willis (DKE) and bigi than them. Rawson ok but seems error prone...again no better than Willis. Clarke ok but got too much to do. Beavon works hard but needs a quality player to work with and we...

    Idiots 2

What plays into fishers hands are our supine fans. Not doing enough to really pressurise sisu or fisher. PUSB

    League one

When you hoof the ball up to your 5'7" forwards to lose possession for 90 mins you don't get the ball in their box. When you can't defend simple straight forward corners you are likely to concede. And when you bring on subs that can't change a game you stay as you are or fall further behind...

    Lee Burge

I agree and think he has been better recently. Unfortunately today he had a mare and was back to his very worse. PUSB

    League one

All the teams seem workmanlike and distinctly average. The difference seems to be organisation, playing to your strengths and will to not lose. On all three counts Coventry are sadly lacking...and as a result we are rock bottom and well adrift. PUSB

Match Thread Coventry v Millwall Match Thread - Saturday 4th Feb

Personally I wasn't upset when Mowbray walked. I thought he had done the decent thing after a poor start to the season following awful recruitment. But I have to say I wish he was still here now. At least we would be going down playing some reasonable football. Instead we are conceding...

    Idiots 2

How can the throwing of tennis balls be blamed? The weren't on the pitch when the corner was tak n, when the player made the run, when the ball hit the net. Blaming the fans is another smokescreen. Yes I'm sure Fisher will try and use it to get himself off the hook and attribute blame elsewhere...
