    Dementia

Worst thing is my dad is old generation and he can't cook, clean, wash, iron etc. Totally dependent on my mum, but he refuses help and I know he would point blank refuse to live with us if anything ever happened to my mum. Think if my mum goes my dad will shortly follow. :(

    Dementia

Yep, a good age, but to see that sudden change is so upsetting still. She can get stuck on a word for 20 seconds and you can see the frustration in her face. Just in the last 4 weeks she has put teabags in the kettle and cooked poached eggs without putting water in the pan, so completely burnt...

    Ashes 17/18 Thread

Good luck finding it somewhere, weeman. Competition is usually healthy, but with this sort of thing it is really annoying. Luckily for me I have Virgin, so get BT too, but then I lose out on Sky Atlantic, which Virgin don't have and so I now have to have NowTV just to get Sky Atlantic in...

    Dementia

Well done, weeman. It's worrying for me, because I have noticed myself now forgetting lots of stuff and also getting completely stuck on words. Might just be because of my mum I am suddenly analysing things a lot more though.

    Expectations?

Well yep, exactly. With the fantastic defence we have (and it clearly is, you only have to look at the goals against column) you have to scratch your head and wonder how we have lost 6 games already.

Striker? Striker???? Why have you never mentioned this before, Don?

    Geoff Boycott mentioned it.

    Expectations?

That's the annoying part. If you are well beaten you sometimes just have to put up your hands and admit you were second best, but to lose games to absolute goalkeeping howlers is just so irritating. Here we are 6 points behind the automatic places and there's at least 4 points thrown away right...

    Dementia

Tis worrying. Convinced now that my mum has dementia, though we haven't had it officially confirmed. She is 87 and her memory deterioration in just a few months is absolutely staggering. 4 or 5 months ago she was quite normal. We suddenly noticed her stumbling and getting stuck though, so I...

    Expectations?

Unfortunately the playoffs are a lottery. We have to aim for top 3 and only be happy with promotion. That of course only being guaranteed if we secure a top 3 place. This is Coventry City and we are known for our banana skin slip ups and not turning up in some big games. I would be very worried...

    Port Vale - Boxing Day

Bobby Davro was your Christmas host 25 years ago?

    Expectations?

Fallen short for me. Quite happy in many ways, but no way would I have believed that we would have lost a third of our games after 19 matches in. I've said before, if we want automatic promotion the most games we can afford to lose is around 12. We have lost half of that and it's still not...

    Jones Injury

Yeah, agree. We could though however go for that winger we have on loan at Colchester, bring him back Can't quite recall his name. Any ideas?

    Jones Injury

Yup, but we still need to score at the other end and so many goals have come from or through Jones.

    I'M A CELEB...

Was that Alana? It's completely lost its edge and seriousness for sure and I'm most people just tune in for the comedy value. My daughter both watch it together and at times it can be hilarious and that's why we keep coming back.

    Jones Injury

If we leave it to Geoff Foster and Martin Winch it will be Christmas before we know, even though Jones will probably have been back playing for us for at least 3 games by then.

    Jones Injury

We will miss him greatly. He is the one player to unlock defences, take players on and score goals. I have always said that it is not a striker we need, but another wide player to complement Jones. If Jones is out I would say we now need two.
