Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

SISU desperately need to make a statement. They're not usually slow to make one when they get made to look bad in the press so the silence could be seen as an indication they don't know how to spin their way out of the revelations of the last few days. More than one representative of SISU very...

    Arsenal allocation

In that scenario you'd get the initial batch on sale to everyone ASAP so you had some idea what the demand was. They could have had a 24 hour window for ST holders, members etc, then 24 hours for anyone who's had a ticket this year. That way they would have been on general sale for a while...

Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

The last statement they made was the one last year wasn't it which said they would move on if nothing had been done by the end of the year. This is just confirmation of that, tying up the loose ends and making it known publically. It's not really the councils fault if people have read more into...

    Arsenal allocation

How many were they expecting to have sold given that hardly anyone has actually been able to buy them yet? We can't have that many ST holders yet they've still sold 1,000. If they knew this deadline was coming up why didn't they schedule the general sale accordingly so they'd actually have a...

Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

Can't really argue with any of that. Basically the council feel they've done everything they can and will not get on with things on the assumption the club is not coming back but will be willing to talk at any time should SISU change their mind. Puts the pressure on SISU to start delivering some...

    More From Sandra G

You also have to consider that all the things we are supposedly getting a say in are things that could pretty easily and relatively easily be sorted at the Ricoh.

    Franck Moussa

Good at this level, I would have my doubts about him stepping up to the championship let alone the prem.

Significant Council announcement on Ricoh coming

Last year they said we'll have to move on after Xmas, I guess this will just be confirming the fact. Not that it wasn't obvious given that over the past few weeks they've started to book events for weekends during the season that would impact on the ability to host a football match.

    Driving to Arsenal

Stanmore you can still park at, park there for England games. It's a pretty long tube ride to the Emirates from there so you'd need to allow plenty of time.

    Arsenal up Ticket sales

This works, I've got my Dad on mine and it doubles the limit. You could always try phoning them up (if you can ever get through), if they've got thousands left they probably won't be too fussed about the restrictions. Is there even a restriction in place once it goes on general sale?

FL remove 'one in, one out' transfer restriction

I thought for FFP purposes the owners could only put money in as equity?

    kcic plan for Arsenal

Did anyone ever find out what happened to him? His last piece on the CT site is 18th December.

The League should give us updates

The other issue is that isn't any new signing only supposed to be on something like 75% of the wages of the outgoing player? If Clarke is leaving because he can get paid more elsewhere it stands to reason anyone at his level isn't going to come here as we can't pay them enough so we'll be either...

    kcic plan for Arsenal

You would really need early access to the ground to put them on every seat. When you go to Wembley they have a rubber band holding the card on, must take a while to do. No matter if Arsenal approve of the protest or not I'm certain they can't be seen to be supporting it.

    kcic plan for Arsenal

Good to see you've put some time in to make some constructive critism and proposed an alternative protest as you feel this one won't be effective.

    Issues Could Be Solved...

We know they are only checking once a year which will be between seasons. If, as seems likley, by the first check there are no plans, site purchased or planning permission applied for something must be done by the league surely?

    Clarke hands in transfer request

Why the assumption that just because he's put in a transfer request he will be disruptive on the squad. Given that SISU have said they will only sell for a very high offer why not try and hold on to him. Other clubs battle to keep their players why should we just roll over? Not sure he will...

    Issues Could Be Solved...

Clear enough to me, if a future application came in there is no choice but to consider it (that's a long way from saying there is any chance of getting permission) and any talks the club have had with N&B council are at such an early stage no one has even bothered to tell him about it. Yet...

    Issues Could Be Solved...

You also have to add on the cost of the existing AVRO loan (that's more than £1.2m a year isn't it) plus the cost of any addtional borrowing to cover losses while at Sixfields. We're looking at £3m upwards a year. We're told £1.2m a year at the Ricoh was crippling the club yet this is...
