Disheartening Sky Blue's Story On The Way..

How legal is what SISU did? If they go to court and state that they were deliberatly distressing ACL to try and purchase the mortgage from Yorkshire Bank on the cheap are they on a sound legal footing? Obvioulsy it's not right from a moral standpoint but can you legally distress a business by...

Disheartening Sky Blue's Story On The Way..

At least we know now why Ann Lucas thinks Higgs won't sell to SISU. Would you in their position?

Sisu - just fk off will you, utter reptiles

So what if they did? ACL have always had a loan to cover the lease, first with Yorkshire Bank then with CCC. If SISU wanted that loan to no longer exist upon them taking ownership of a share in ACL they would need to pay it off. Does it make any difference if they pay off Yorkshire Bank or CCC?

Disheartening Sky Blue's Story On The Way..

Absolutely disgusting from SISU. Unless PWKH is outright lying Higgs agreed to sell to SISU and never heard anything back from them. Not sure what the loan has to do with it. From day one ACL has had a loan they've been repaying, first to Yorkshire Bank and then to CCC. If SISU were concerned...

So what will be the outcome?

This is where the JR plan falls apart. First SISU need to win it, think they're going to have a very difficult case to prove. Then the court needs to rule that ACL have to pay back the loan, even if the court finds in favour of SISU it's far from a forgone conclusion the loan will have to be...

    Buy Nuneaton Town ?

What are you basing this on? The cost of additional capacity has to be cheaper at the stage of initial build rather than adding at a later date. Having extra capacity doesn't really add a day to day cost, stewarding, policing etc will all be done on the crowd level not capacity. I would say the...

It's the return of bad news Thursday! Unless we've been kicked out of the league how much worse can things get?

    Aeg

Did you actually read what I posted? In the UK AEG deal almost exclusively with music events and ticketing (through their own ticketing company AXS). The largest part of their business is AEG Live a music promotions company which puts events on at hundreds of venues all over the country...

    Hinckley AFC at the Ricoh?

Why would you start a new team called Hinckley and move then to Coventry? Must be someone on the wind up.

    Buy Nuneaton Town ?

If Nuneaton fans backed a move to the Ricoh then I'd be OK with it but if they weren't in favour then this shouldn't even be considered. Not being locally in all honesty I would probably never go to see them play or have any interest in how they are doing above the level I do now which is...

    Mediator

I remember that, don't think he so much said no outright as squirmed a bit and tried to change the subject. One thing to consider with mediation is who would pay the bill if an agreement wasn't reached. There will be a cost to the council, and therefore the taxpayer. What if, as with the...

    Aeg

Will probably post more on this tomorrow when I get on a decent keyboard but while they are a huge worldwide company if you look at what they do in the UK you'll see how unlikely it is they'd have the slightest interest in running the Ricoh. In this country they are a music based company running...

    This Situation..

And what then? ACL no longer exists, no events of any sort at the Ricoh, all the businesses at the Ricoh have been kicked out and CCFC are still playing in Northampton - brilliant plan.

    Spoke to a property lawyer

So your solution is that CCC screw over a load of businesses and cause a lot of local people to lose their jobs? If that's the way you choose to do business you should probably speak to Joy, she'll probably give you a job.
