Well I believe in wealth redistribution so who and where not as important as getting something. Anything. We’ve had virtually nothing since 2010. Get that back then we can worry about if it’s the right type of growth. Mostly housing and transport are needed IMO so where the growth is doesn’t...

Ive always wondered what the interview process is for football managers. Do they have to lead a session or have a panel with the players or something?

Really don’t want Rudoni. Think he’ll be another AM with no end product and we’ve just got rid of one of them. We need better at the price he’ll cost.

Honestly don’t get the obsession with libraries in 2024. Or why you’re blaming Labour for them after 14 years of Conservative govt.

I know you’re not stupid enough to actually believe your second paragraph so I’ll ignore that. Getting people enthused is great and in a straight fight like Brexit or the US presidency can even lead to success. However that’s not how MPs are elected in this country and it’s not an effective...

Standard YouTube behaviour TBH. Happens a lot and I’d be surprised to see him get anywhere complaining. This is why you don’t hang your income on YouTube folks.

Sure sure. Lovely stuff for a celebrity or whatever. Doesn’t actually help get you elected though does it? Brexit and Trump got a lot of politically apathetic people engaged in politics too. Positive? Or just populism?

No no. Let’s not run off to something else. Explain why Corbyn didn’t win in 2019 with such huge rallies. Turnout must have been massive for him, no?

I did. Didn’t you say it was an indicator of how popular a politician was? Why did Corbyn lose here? The two aren’t even close. Here’s some from 2020, maybe you can explain these? Rally attendances being such a strong indicator of electoral performance and all.

Two photos of rallies from the last election, I assume the guy in the first one won by a landslide, yes? Can either @Brighton Sky Blue or @Philosorapter explain?

Was this after we’d signed Torp as well? Sorry I can’t remember the details. by my rough count we’ve spent the Vik and Gus count but the margin of error on fees both ways is huge so who knows

What do you mean? He’s not in the stadium to fill the stadium. He’s there using it as a backdrop like any of these things.

As we all know the number of people at a rally is massively relevant to electoral prospects and that’s why we enjoyed a Labour victory in 2017/19

Yeah, probably, but that’s no bad thing. It’s not really a football opinion I guess but more a political one, would be nice to treat Britain as one and Wales is already there. Get people up to Scotland and then down here a bit.

You mean bigger stadia? Probably same reason he doesn’t talk up his Arsenal support that much: it starts to piss off people as much as gain their support. Whereas almost everyone regardless of the team they support thinks non-league is a worthy cause to associate with.

Well if tax evasion goes up and crime goes up not so much. This is the problem with a very simplified view of the world. Cutting support in one area raises costs elsewhere. Cut social care, spend more on the NHS, cut policing, spend more ironically in policing, cut education, spend more...
