Supporting Coventry City Ladies + Return to Ricoh + Fix Football Petition

Why shouldn't people go to the womens game if they aren't going to the mens game? When I lived in Cov I used to regularly go and watch the reserves and youth team. Some days the youth team would be at home the same day the first team were away and it never seemed to be an issue for anyone...

    Favourite ever sky blue experience?

The last match at HR was a pretty special day but I'd go for either the 5-4 against Forrest, 4-0 up and then they came back to 4-4 or the first win over Villa. What about peoples worst? Besides obvious things I remember an dire home game against Wimbledon in terrible weather - at one point it...

Exactly this, if the preferred option is to move back to the Ricoh make a bloody bid and stop spouting off on the radio.

    Boundary Blindness

Why on earth is this in the 'Coventry City General Chat' forum? We need a politics sub forum if people want to talk about things like this. There's enough politics on here as it is without bringing up stuff that has nothing to do with the football club.

Would you take relegation if it meant the end of Sisu ?

Yes you did, we're in the glorious Otium Entertainment era now. Please try and keep up!

Would you take relegation if it meant the end of Sisu ?

Unless we go out of business totally (which we could well be on course for anyway) how much worse can it really get???

Would you take relegation if it meant the end of Sisu ?

I thought this was an old thread someone had dug up! Hard to say, it would depend on who was coming in and what their plans were and if they stood up to scrutiny. If it looked like going down for 1 or 2 seasons to straighten the finances out and then come back stronger then yes but if it was...

    If we went down....

That's a different argument. ACL own nearly 80% of the joint venture company so its in their interests for profit to be maximised or are you saying they have deliberately entered a deal that sees them make less money? That would seem an odd thing to do. If SISU owned 50% of ACL and therefore...

I think you might be right. I seem to remember someone from ACL saying it didn't mean they were going to bid for the club they just wanted all the information they could get access to as a creditor.

Mutton wasn't much help for sure but it wasn't solely his choice. Had SISU submitted a formal bid it would have gone before the full council. It wasn't just for Mutton to say yes or no. Showing PH4 round the ground and even, if it happened, making a deal to sell him their share doesn't...

    If we went down....

I think the Compass deal is a red herring. Many other clubs have similar deals, including Northampton, it's not something weird and wonderful ACL have done and they have done it as they feel it is the deal that gives the best return. You're just getting the profit from the joint venture company...

    If we went down....

Maybe time to get the Pompey thread back up and running!!! There's a lot of talk round here that they are just working day to day and have big problems round the corner. Part of the ground is closed of as it's unsafe, they had to borrow half a million to even get the ground through health and...

This is a key point. Pay the rent and their is no option for anyone to put you into administration. When people talk about regime change and the likes of CCC, ACL and SBT trying to force a change, or at least assist others, what actual evidence is there? Let's say I was interested in...

Labovich stated something along the lines of two companies working together against another was illegal. Is that actually true? If so going to court and saying your company, SISU, and another company, CCC, were trying to decieve a third company, Yorkshire Bank, into thinking their customer, ACL...

    If we went down....

I know but in SISU's world it seems you would do your shopping at Northampton Tesco no matter how many people were telling you it was crazy and your reasoning didn't make any sense :D
  16. chiefdave

    If we went down....

So if Tesco on the Arena Park sell a pint of milk for 50p but at the Northampton Lidl it was 30p would you spend a fiver on petrol and an hour and a half of your time to get there as it was a better offer?

    Relegation & Points Deduction

The problem you have is that the FL won't issue a golden share for next season to anyone who is suing them so everyone has little choice but to accept what they have decided. The same could apply in L2 with Pompey. They got their points deduction last season when already relegated when every...

2½ times our points deduction in the last 8 weeks.

Don't think anyone was expecting SISU to just roll over. I think people were expecting a more tranparent administration process and where needed the FA / FL stepping in to make factual statements about player registrations, league share etc. What do you think would have happened if we hadn't...

MEP makes fraud claim against council over Ricoh funding

If SISU gave out correct info everyone would be in shock!

MEP makes fraud claim against council over Ricoh funding

Would be interesting to know if, after getting the initial answers and suspecting an issue, she asked the council for an explanation before making a big deal out of it.
