Brinner and Gary - You still meeting Clarke tomorrow?

how surprised will anyone be if something comes up on Tuesday and it gets moved again?

"fit and proper persons test" can the league help us.

biggest difference is that Pompey knew who they owner was and who to protest against. Fair enought those in charge did nothing but we don't even know who owns our club!

Is this what Leonard Brody meant?

its very noticable that the organisation that should be most vocal is nowhere to be seen.

"fit and proper persons test" can the league help us.

think this is why SISU have it split into 4 (I think, sure someone can correct me) investment funds. That means even if SISU own the club 100% none of the actual funds need have more than 30% to trigger a fit and proper persons test. Seems like a loophole that the league are slow to close and I...

    Guess the Attendance- West ham

do they count the freebies they give out? some sports will make 2 figures available the actual attendance on the the and the number of tickets sold.

    who owns ccfc

I would guess he means something like he owns a percentage and SISU own the rest however SISUs share is I believe split into seperate investment funds and within each fund would be multiple investors who are unknown to us and I think the league.

Brody speaks again on CWR this afternoon

clearly there's been some sort of falling out and the fact that he was fairly open, even if people thought he was spouting rubbish, and then suddenly went silent would indicate to me that he was forced to shut up and now he's off the board is free to say what he wants. this could be things...

Len Brody talks crap - official

which would indicate to me that someone was keeping him quiet, maybe part of the reason he quit?

Are SISU/Board preparing us for Division 1?

isn't it a never ending cycle tho? we've cut costs this year presumably based on income last year. now that income has dropped due to the team not performing and attendance dropping so we sell more players in January to balance the books again and make ourselves relegation certs. won't next...

    Are SISU playing chicken?

roughly what time was he on, wouldn't mind giving it a listen on iplayer.

    Brody says...

it has been a while since we had a statement. think they must have been worried that some of what Brody said made sense and could even have been true. wouldn't want the board to be associated with anything like that. what odds on a statement after the loan windows about how hard we tried to...

    not much of a update

I think if someone else takes over AT deserves a shot but it may be wise to bring in someone experienced to work alongside him. To be honest they should probably do this at the moment, Bobby Gould would probably do it for nothing!

    Brody resigns

Another one out of the revolving door http://www.ccfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10269~2516280,00.html

    Brinner Snozzer

I would imagine it would be a situation like Southampton where SISU will try and argue that the company that have gone into admin is nothing to do with CCFC but the league are unlikely to stand for that and will take the points off them anyway. What I'm not understanding is that if all the...

    Brighton away

been looking online as well, doesn't sound the easiest place to get to! Both the park and ride or the train seem to mean a long wait. Odd that these gounds get built with seemingly no plan on how to get people there!

    Value of club?

Well the sticking point is presumably that SISU want that £40m back. The £50m for the stadium wouldn't be money you're throwing away would it as it's buying you an asset? Surely then you own an asset worth roughly £80m (based on the valuation of £40m for the councils half which seems to be...

    Value of club?

Could the contracts have a negative effect? Lets say for example Hoff's group takes over but they think several of the players who have been signed to contracts aren't up to the job and they want to get rid of them. Isn't that now going to cost them more money as they have longer contracts to...

The Higgs trust and the half stadium debate

out of interest say CCFC were to buy both Higgs and the councils share of ACL and therefore own 100% of the leasehold what would the value of the freehold be? not that i'm expecting that to happen any time soon, just curious.

West Ham sold 6200, this seasons Leeds?

they'll be in the home end, not like there's a shortage of tickets! they wouldn't know how many they'd sold in advance tho.

    Thats all folks

I've got a similar problem. Ever since I moved from Cov I've always planned my visits to my parents to coincide with home games and taken my Dad who has been going for over 50 years. The other day when I was on the phone to him he told me not to bother getting tickets for him anymore as he can't...
